So you're on a beach holiday maybe a visit to the Old Olive Oil factory isn't first thing on your list but think again it's really interesting. We visited on our last night and were the only 2 people on our tour, almost one to one service at E3.50, can't be bad. The history of the factory itself, the olive... More

Great tour! Very well done and interesting. There is a tasting at the end of the tour. Great value for 4 euros a person.

We found this little museum quite by accident. Very interesting & well run. Learnt a lot about the manufacture of olive oil in the past. The tastings held afterwards were the best bit. I know know how to spot a really authentic extra virgin olive oil. Never buy Sainsburys TTD again! Well worth the 3.5 euro admission fee.

Our visit to the Olive Oil Factory was made by contacting them at info@paragaea.gr. It is a very informative tour that took about 2 hours. Very thorough. We were able to taste different oils with dipping bread. The entrance fee was out 3.50 Euros and so worth it. The town is small and the shopping area is only a few... More

We visited a Old Oil Factory last day of our trip in Parga. Nice little museum, we have learnt a lot about olives and olive oil. Also we have tasted some of the most quality olive oil out there. After a short tour and oil tasting we had to spend some our last money on olive products. People who work... More

When we went up to the old olive oil factory a tour was already under way, so we waited a few minutes and joined them for their tasting - you try olive oils, olive paste and a few other things. We were then taken on a tour of the factory, as no one else had arrived in the time we... More

It was great to find out everything about the era when the olive factory was at full capacity. Excellent visit and great to taste the produce which was also available to purchase.

We were met at the reception by a very friendly and forthcoming young man. We were given a very thorough tour and all our questions were answered (even very specific and nerdy questions) to our fullest satisfaction. The tasting part of the tour at the end was very informative - and yummy!

We decided to visit the Paragaea Olive Oil Museum during a rainy couple of hours recently. We were greeting by an english speaking guy who informed us that we would watch a video for a few minutes displaying the process of olive oil making from start to finish. Once the video had finished he gave us a tour around the... More

Perfect museum for beach destination. It is small enough so you don't have to spend there many hours . Guides speak good english and tour is very informative. You get tasting samples with bread on different olive oils and they have smalla shop where you buy their products after the tour. Ticket is cheap.
