I don't usually like museums; they make me yawn. But this was much much more. The exquisite presentation by the museum hosts, the eloquence, wisdom, beauty and richness in all they had to say and share about Parga's olives and its oil was like a gentle infusion into my very being, helping to slow me right down. They somehow conveyed... More

This afternoon we went at the olive-oil factory, and had a great time. Francesco will tell you everything about the history of making olive-oil in Parga. You will get to taste all kinds of olive oil and after your visit you will know everything about olive-oil. We enjoyed it very much.

Fascinating place. The guide shows you round the attractive old factory and explains how olives used to be processed. There is also a lot of information on modern olive cultivation. At the end there is an opportunity to taste and buy olive oil.

We had decided to visit the Olive oil factory when or if we had a cloudy day. My advice is don't do this or you may miss out. The guides are very knowledgable and give a very good and detailed description of the history of both the factory and processes as well as the brief history of Olive oil factories... More

Very informative trip, nice people and excellent olive oli! The trip takes about half an hour. If you are early, there is high chance that there are not many people visiting and you have kind of a private tour through the place.

Traditional original old olive oil factory. Wonderful tour. Very interesting, with great knowledgable friendly tour guides that are passionate about what they do and videos of how olives are harvested and made into olive oil. Olive oil tasting to finish and the chance to buy if you want. Also flavoured salad dressings. Tasty!

We strolled around to the Parga olive oil factory at around 10.30 am to find out the times of the tour. There are no set times, you can wander around and read all the info on the walls or have a browse around the shop until the guide has finished. The factory is one of 6 of the original olive oil...
