It was great to find out everything about the era when the olive factory was at full capacity. Excellent visit and great to taste the produce which was also available to purchase.

We were met at the reception by a very friendly and forthcoming young man. We were given a very thorough tour and all our questions were answered (even very specific and nerdy questions) to our fullest satisfaction. The tasting part of the tour at the end was very informative - and yummy!

We decided to visit the Paragaea Olive Oil Museum during a rainy couple of hours recently. We were greeting by an english speaking guy who informed us that we would watch a video for a few minutes displaying the process of olive oil making from start to finish. Once the video had finished he gave us a tour around the... More

Perfect museum for beach destination. It is small enough so you don't have to spend there many hours . Guides speak good english and tour is very informative. You get tasting samples with bread on different olive oils and they have smalla shop where you buy their products after the tour. Ticket is cheap.

I've been to many wine tastings around the world and this was my first olive oil tasting. The old factory is situated right in the centre of Parga, very close to a big modern church. It is signposted. I was nicely received by the owner, paid 3,50eur (it is worth definitely more than that) and soon I was in a... More

Tour of the factory and a history lesson precede a tasting session. The tour brought history of the region to life and was delivered by an engaging and humorous tour guide. The tasting session was so informative - we will never buy oil In the same way again. Great cooking tips and advice on health benefits. It was well worth... More

Oh dear! Choosing and buying olive oil has just got harder after visiting this very interesting and informative place! We read about this place on Tripadvisor. It's located in the town, just past Maistros Taverna as you go up the steps from the harbour. Entrance fee is 3 euro. You get a tour of the old factory with interesting explanations... More

I don't usually like museums; they make me yawn. But this was much much more. The exquisite presentation by the museum hosts, the eloquence, wisdom, beauty and richness in all they had to say and share about Parga's olives and its oil was like a gentle infusion into my very being, helping to slow me right down. They somehow conveyed... More

This afternoon we went at the olive-oil factory, and had a great time. Francesco will tell you everything about the history of making olive-oil in Parga. You will get to taste all kinds of olive oil and after your visit you will know everything about olive-oil. We enjoyed it very much.
