The olive oil factory is well worth a visit whilst in the area, and very reasonably priced at only 3.5 euros per person. The visit is split into three parts - a guided tour, a video and oil tasting. The guides are very knowledgable and welcoming. I purchased a couple of oils to bring home and these were well packaged.... More

We found this very interesting place last year and found the experience so good that we revisited it again this year so our daughter could enjoy it as well.Very informative and the staff are full of knowledge which they love to share. A good insight into Olive Oil production and the tasting of various different oils very good. You also... More

Even my husband was glad we did this short tour! It was very informative and enjoyable. It really answered many questions about olive oil that have been keeping me up for years! Well...maybe not but I did learn a lot about olive oil. The tour guides are very hospitable and know their stuff. The tasting was a treat. A little... More

We read about this place on Tripadvisor last year, thought the experience was very good and made a point of going back this year. It's located in the town, just past Maistros Taverna as you go up the steps from the harbour. Entrance fee is 3.50 euro, well worth the price. You get a tour of the old factory with... More

On the penultimate day of our fabulous holiday to Parga I caved in to the request to visit the factory. We still haven't opened oils from other Greek islands yet, but our trip around Panagea was worth while. The guide taught us how to sample oil, how to differentiate between good and bad oil and was thoroughly knowledgeable. The olive... More

We were the only 2 people in the factory during our visit so it was a real treat to have the guide to ourselves! - Very interesting and informative tour with lots of photos and original machinery to explain the history. You also have the opportunity to try the oils before you buy!

Up until we had visited this museum located in Parga we knew very little of the Olive tree or the products derived from this amazing fruit. The guides who took us through the tour and sampling were outstanding in their knowledge and passion for the subject. We had so many questions and each was answered with patience and clarity. The...
