This castle is located in a magical location and one with the aura of Parga offers a complete experience to its guests.
A very nice old castle with a fantastic view. A must-go in Parga even though there are many steps to get to the very top it is well worth the trouble.
We read in our guide about the good cafe in the castle. Unfortunately it seems to be closed during the winter months. But the castle is worth a visit for it's own. You get a really great view over Parga and the islands/rocks in the bay. You can walk around the castle on your own and look into the buildings.... More
Well preserved ruins of Parga Castle are unfortunately not well-treated. There are lots of rooms which can be definitely used for expositions or other needs. Real pity that Greek government doesn't pay attention to this castle. It's very big - one of the biggest i could say i have seen. You can get marvellous pictures with a view on Parga.
It's a long climb up to the castle but the reward is a superb view of Parga bay.Not much to see in the castle but you can visit the cafe Citadel which has loos and a good selection of drinks and snacks.Lots of interesting shops to explore on the way down.
... is my favourite touring destination with so many things to do during night or day - tons of shops, eating stands and bars to choose from, all condensed and mingled together to fit in a sea-side village with a vibrant lifestyle. Favouritely stylish and extremely romantic for escaping from everyday life into amusement and fun. Has rough rocky seaside... More

It is a shame that such an ancient and historical place was only restored enough for a cafe. There is so much there but it is all crumbling and over grown. It is well worth the visit if you are in Parga but not worth going out of your way otherwise.
