Very interesting just to walk around and look around, go down small alleyways, there's lots to look out, walk around the walls, you see so much, get off the beaten track.

I have seen many old places in Europe and beyond and this has to be up there with the best of them. Strolling through the old town in the evening when the sun is setting is a wonderful experience for anyone. The cobbled streets and the old city walls are very enchanting in the evening. There are plenty of places... More

We recently visited Rhodes Old town, it was lovely. Great cobbled streets with wonderful buildings. Parts were a little over commercialised with the usual gift shops and restaurants but away from the beaten track what we experienced was fantastic. If in Rhodes I recommend a trip to the old town.

Really liked walking around the castle walls and moat of old town but allow plenty of time and have some water with you as its really hot. Loads of little shops around the little streets of old town but watch out for mopeds.

Very interesting and you get a taste of the real Rhodes. Very busy with tourists as cruise ships dock here. Lovely museum, lots of old cobbled streets full of history.

Every inch of the old city is occupied by a tourist shop or a restaurant. Shops sell very expensive souvenir you can find every where and the majority of the restaurants propose bad food ..., For a place that is supposed to be (one of) the origin of the human being civilization, the uniqueness of the place is gone.....sold to... When considering the medieval city of Rhodes, Mandraki harbor is definitely one sight worth mentioning. Don`t miss the ancient windmills (built by the Knights of St.John and one of the symbols of Rhodes) and next to it Agios Nikolaos fortress and lighthouse. Next walk to the opposite shore of the harbor and visit the Evangelismos church (the official cathedral of... More

One of the best preserved medieval cities in the world, ancient Rhodes is definitely worth a visit! Just take your time to walk along the walls of the old city and then enter one of the gates to take a stroll in the ancient fortress of the Knights of St.John. The Street of Knights (the most important street in the... More

The city is very interesting and full of history! You can find interesting buildings and places everywhere. Unfortunately there are many tourist and too many small shops so that you can't enjoy the city completely
