This is a part of ancient ruins in Rhodes located on Monte Smith. Unfortunately there is no entry to Acropolis. Anyway, as we read in the guide, only three benches in the first row are authentic. We missed any 0information about the place over there. Also the place could be in better shape.

Took a half hour walk from our hotel in Rhodes town to the ancient stadium and acropolis, and took some great pictures out there. The place is shines with it's beauty. Supricelly in a good shape. The theatre look a little bit newer then the rest of the place. All in all I would recommend spending a few hours in... More

We decided to explore rhodes ourselves and rented a taxi to take us around. We had the most amazing time thanks to taxi driver who was curteous professional knowledgeable and passionate about rhodes and genuinely wanted us to have the best time. He had local knowledge which he shared and took us to a local restaurant for lunch. My daughter... More

Nice glimpse of the old Greek period. The olympic stadion is impressive, the Appolo temple is great.

The Acropolis in Rhodes is was built in the 3rd century BC and is located on the top of the hill, which is the highest point in Rhodes and it is only 3 kms from the city. As you climb down the steps, there is a small amphitheatre and a stadium

For a free and roam free trip (no restrictions for kids jumping over rocks etc) it's worth a visit, very odd feel as can look unloved at points but overall worth a look, great views over Rhodes town

I spent a late afternoon capturing images of this massive site - the next day I got to the site just before sunrise to capture an amazing sunrise. The whole area is absolutely mind stimulating.

The Acropolis and its nearby stadium are definitely worth a visit, despite being quite far from the Old Town of Rhodes. Set on the highest point of Rhodes, the Acropolis keeps watch over the island below. The sheer size of the stadium is to be respected, and can only truly be appreciated in person.
