The best beach

We think that this is the most beautiful beach in Rhodes. The water is great, very clean, you may see everything inside. The beach is all with sand, there are no stones.

Pure commercialism. A nice place ruined by uncontrolled development, Place is run down and unlooked after. Services like toilets and showers all need repairing, Money is made here selling beach beds and overpriced drinks

It is about 30min drive from the 'Old Town' of Rhodes south along the coast to this grey sand beach. It has several Kiosks renting beach chairs, offering food/drinks and basic shower/change facilities. You can ride behind speedboats on inflatable devices or water-ski for a price. Best of all just relax in the refreshing, clear and calm waters. In summer... More

This is quite a big beach considering that there is no any hotel around, it has nice surroundings & it is definitely worth the visit. While you are there, make sure you also pay the visit to the Monastery of Tsambika nearby - it offer breathtaking views of the coast.

Really enjoined this sandy beach. If you search for quite beach, i would say Tsanbika is not the one. We liked food in the "No name" taverna on the beach. WiFi is good as well.

Billy's bar is a brilliant , the staff are very excellent , food is excellent , arrives so quickly. The set up is very relaxed with hammocks , plenty of seating for drinking or dinning . The cost was very good value. Less than fifty euro for 5 people for food and drinks . Massive portions . The bar seemed... More

It is known that most Mediterranean beaches have pebblestone ground and it is not so easy to find a wide golden sand beach. Well, this is Tsambika. Large, comfortable, with several beach restaurants/bars to have lunch and drinks. Water sports. Calm sea. What else???

On my visit to Rhodes I found myself at this beach several times a week. With large hills on either side of the hot sandy beach you feel cut off from everything else in a relaxing environment. There are plenty of places along the beach to get a drink or something to eat at fair prices. If you feel like... More

Me and my boyfriend came here and were very happy to see soft white sands, we spent the day here after getting the bus from the Old Town. The sea is beautifully clear, nice restaurants in the area and a super market, we were disappointed to realise the monestery was so difficult to access though as it was something we... More
