We took a one day car hire tour of the island and were so glad we decided to go to Zia. Fantastic views and backdrop. We had a good meal on a roof top restuarant and just took in the peaceful atmosphere and scenary. It is full of tourist shops but that doesn't detract from the village too much more

I went to Kos last week, very nice place, for the first time. One of the most beautiful place to visit was Zia, you can go in Zia by car or scooter, and finally you can see the best sunrise in the island! I suggest expecially if you are a couple, very romantic!! Also, I suggest Michalis Apartments in Kos,... more

We were in Zia last week, the sunset is beautiful and the food at the roof top taverna is really good I can recommend the greek mixed grill. Check the days when the coach parties go there I think its Mon, Weds, Fri and avoid these as it gets too busy! more

Zia is such a beautiful place... The highest village on the island... You will find yourself surrounded by breathtaking views, trees, flowers and the sounds of nature... There are many tourist shops but they sell good quality local products and foods. If you visit Kos you CANNOT miss the sunset from Zia. The highest place is aptly named "The Sunset... more

Zia is so very sweet and unspoilt, of course the local people have to make a living so there are lots of shops and stalls to buy from. Having said that the goods on sale were good local products in the main. The Germans do take over abit if you let them. There are some nice places to eat in... more
