Lovely water, too crowded

My husband and I cycled here one morning and our timing was impeccable - we were leaving as the first bus arrived! This is a lovely spot and the water is as hot as a bath but, and... read more

This is an amazing place and experience. Even better is that it's free !! It's like having a hot jacuzzi in the sea. Plus you can have a volcanic mud pack applied also.

We travelled there by car from Psalidi where our hotel was. The drive takes about 15 minutes. The road is quite hilly. When you arrive at Therma Beach, you need to park your car at the top of the hill and walk down. The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes (and longer on the way back up!) The... More

If you do nothing else whilst in Kos you must do this !!! Simply has to be experienced to be believed how hot the water is. Just make sure you are prepared for the really steep hill on the way back up

Rented a very small car (Fiat Panda), but it took the 4 of us up and down to this wonder of nature. This really is a strange place : the water is very warm, although it is connected to the open sea, really worthwhile visiting. Do it early in the morning, because it is less crowded then. There's no charge... More

My husband and I cycled here one morning and our timing was impeccable - we were leaving as the first bus arrived! This is a lovely spot and the water is as hot as a bath but, and the reason for four stars, is it gets so busy that the relaxing aspect of the waters is lost. The cafe at... More

Fantastic to sit in the ocean with the water hotter than your bath, an amazing experience. Lovely views on the drive up. Beware of long trip up and down to beach. The cafe at the top was clean and friendly, food good. The donkey taxi back up is a must, the donkeys are well kept and it was fun and... More

Very nice place to visit during your holiday. Therma Beach is located about 5 km away from Kos town. Best way to visit is by rental car etc. We for example visited Thermas during our "around the island with a car" day. When you arrive to thermas, there is quite big parking lot where you can leave your rental car... More

We went and 5pm and it was lovely, not overly busy With plenty of room for everyone. The water is red hot, it's so strange, definitely worth a visit, you park at the top and it's a bit of a trek down so not suitable if you have trouble walking, you can get a donkey down but these had packed... Visited last week , it's a long hot walk down a very steep hill so only suitable if you are good on your feet! You can pay for a donkey ride but we didn't see anyone using them while we were there. Don't plan on being there too long as a hour is long enough for a quick dip &... More

Amazing views walking down the hill. The stuff postcards are made of The thermal area itself isnt huge and quite hot. Walk towards the middle and its more comfortable. Soooo good for the skin to bathe here Beach is lovely too. Bring some water and a few snacks and stay longer. The bus back is frequent.
