The Thermal Baths are very very warm although the walk to them can be rather difficult - especially if you have walking difficulties. However there is a "Donkey" service to and from costing 5euro per person for a one-way journey and 7,50euros per person for both ways.

I have been here twice in the colder month of October, the first time it was amazing, like in the pictures and the 5 star reviews. The 2nd time it was a waste of time because the hot water was not flowing and the beach is not spectacular. The weather was bad too the 2nd time in October, so the... More

Therma beach is an interesting place to visit. Not somewhere you’d spend the whole day but the hot water running from the cliffs is amazing. It heats a pool of sea water creating a nice hot bath which is nice to bathe in. However it can get very busy and crowded down there and there isn’t much else to do.... More

We went to Therma Beach in the evening, so it was quite exceptional like an open air Jacuzzi under the stars. The water is very hot and I think it's not a good idea to go there in the day time. The therma part is like a pool in the sea, separated with big rocks. The downsides are: it was... More

We took a bus from Kos harbour for just €3 each, we read some reviews on the way which made me worry that I'd worn flip flops and not hiking boots but it's really not all that steep! It is a bit remote with just the one cafe at the bottom and another at the top but both owners were... More

This is an unusual attraction which we visited one afternoon. There is a car park at the top on the road with a small cafe but if you are really brave, you could drive your hire jeep down the steep slope to the beach area. Walking, it takes about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you could ride on one of the donkeys.... More

We went there on our first day in KOs and we were expecting more from hat place.. first of all, the sea was rather cold in may, so the thermal water seemed very hot. There was too crowded for 5 square meters pool, it is a little bit dirty around and doesn't look very hygienic, so I risked only to... More

It is a bit of a steep walk down the hill but nowhere near as bad as people have been making out - we managed perfectly well in flip flops and on the way back up it was maybe a 10 minute walk at the most! One thing to note is that there isn't anything else there - just a... More

You should try it! Hot thermal water really refreshes and cures. My slightly scorched shoulders ceased to pinch after the third entrance into the water though it's very salty. As a whole feelings are remarkable! It is better to visit in the morning when there is less people.
