If you decide to take the trip to Therma then you must try the hot water pool. please be advised that there used to be a notice warning about the do's and don't but it has been removed and not replaced. It did tell you not to use the pool if you suffer with a heart complete and various other... More

the whole Kos island is very small, and so are the main attractions. Therma area is like 10x10m size. But worth seeing.

Have made several visits to this interesting natural pool fed by the very hot volcanic spring which issues from the beachside cliff. While it is quite a clamber to descend the rocky path down to the pool, once you have donned your swimwear and dipped your toe in the somewhat sulphurous waters you will have an unusual hot bath in... Warm bubbling water together with many other tourists is not worth walking on stony road for 10 minutes. Nice view on road to Therma but in total not worthy spending time on. Better go to any of the lovely beaches on Kos Island ( and there are many good beaches).

We cycled from Lambi (part cycled part walk up the mountain :) lol) The route is brilliant, with such stunning scenery all the way through the mountain. Had the pleasure of startling a black whip snake en route too. When we eventually arrived at the cliff top, we stopped for refreshment, all in all, wasn't too badly priced, as you... More

We hired a car for the day and visited this beach as part of our tour. We arrived around 1pm by which time the car park was near full. A 5 minute walk down a fairly steep path brings you to the pebbly beach, at the far end of which is the pool. I would recommend wearing flip flops to... More

A unique experience: wallow in hot springs that bubble from the base of the cliffs at Therma Beach. Go early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowds. Don't forget swimsuits and towels! We drove but there is a bus from Kos (number 5 from memory but please check!). Park by the cliff top cafe and walk down... More

Great 10km cycle on a lovely tarred road, the first 4/5 km out of Kos is on a cycle track, with a lot of inexperienced cyclists and it is slow going. The cycle up the hill to Thema is great and the views along the route fantastic. At Therma there is a cafe at the top of the hill, and... More

Our car hire depot suggested we visit the Therma Bath and we were glad we did. Go early or late as it is small and wouldn't hold more than 20 comfortably. Very pebbly, so take old shoes or flip flops to wear right into the water, but once you get there - wow!! We swam for half an hour in... More

Well worth a visit if you are holidaying in Kos. Try to go before 10.00am or after 4.00pm to avoid the tourist coaches to really appreciate.
