This site is a little difficult to find. It's at the top of a large hill, but you don't need to hike to get there. There is a paved road that allows you to drive your car most of the way up; then there's just a very short, but steep, walk to the actually site. There's a small museum that's... More

The ruins are very well preserved and you'll have a wonderfull view from the top of the hill. The climb is an easy one (from the car parking, there is a longer path but we did't used it) thou I would not advise a walk during the hottest hours of the day. You can get there on foot by climbing up the hill (an easy 30 min walk from the main road to Vathy) or drive all the way up to the top! I prefer to walk up the hill and enjoy the smell of sage and thyme as I go up! (and the views over the Sifnos, Paros and the other... More

From Apollonia you take the central pedestrian street and go south to Katavati. You pass the magnificent Angelloktisti church (at your right).
