The museum has interesting displays and the audio guide provides a ton of information. The visit will give you a comprehensive picture of the history of wine making, as seen through the eyes of the Koutsoyannopoulos family. That said, I was hoping the museum would also offer information outside. It would be great to add a section of the tour... More

The tour was unique and we liked it. Showed the importance of wine for people in santorini and also Greece. After the tour we sampled 4-5 wines. We did not like a single one of them.

We had a great time in the Museum! The stuff are friendly and helpful. Do not forget to buy Visanto and Kamariti after the wine tasting! They are super wines!

we had a great couple of hours here, the museum is not far from Kamari and tells the story of 2 brothers who ended up in Santorini and started a vinyard. It costs 7 euros but you get a head set with commentry in your language, entrance to the museum which is in a cave below ground and when you... More

A very nice museum to visit! We had a wonderful time even though museums aren't our kind of entertainment! We drank 4 wines at the end of our visit! We really felt how wine was made back then ! Thank you for the experience!

The actual museum was kind of strange. I didn't really have the attention span to pay attention to each exhibit. The costumes and figures were almost comical. The wine tasting was very good and the servers were attentive and informational.

What fun! We learned alot about winemaking as it was done 100 years ago. The exhibits themselves are a little cheesy and outdated, but he information was great--Santorini is a geological wonder that is now producing some terrific wines--some you get to taste at the museum. Be prepared to bring a bottle or two home with you. Thanks to Alex... More

My husband and I toured this facility as part of a group excursion in early July. A series of cavelike dioramas recreate the various stages of wine production on Santorini over the years, along with maps, photos, and original equipment used. The winery is worth a visit if you're interested in the history of winemaking. The push-to-listen monitors enable visitors... More

Vine testing is available only with museum ticket, but it worth trying both. If you enjoy the vine (especially Kamaritis - sweet and red) ask for delivery - to any address for reasonable charge. Museim itself is underground and explains all stages of vine production in Santorini in authentic environment.
