Petaloudes is tucked away in a green corner of Paros and quite a contast to the sunbaked landscape that you'll find in the rest of the island. This green and shady sanctuary is home to the mating place of a species of moth, who return here year on year to mate and then die. To say there is millions of... more

Beautiful oasis. The butterflies are everywhere in the summer but don't make them fly for that great photo op. The signs are posted everywhere to not disturb them. The view from the area surrounding the park is awesome (as are most views in Paros). Great place to go to while away a morning on the island. more
