When you are surrounded by so many beautiful traditional beaches, you really should not waste any time stopping at Santa Maria beach. Unless you have children who need to occupy their times with floats, and you feel the need to have mixed drinks in your lounge chair - it it not a necessary stop on your trip. best part about... I definitely recommend visiting this beach while in Paros! It is one of the most beautiful beaches I saw on the 10 islands I visited in May 2014. The water is so clear and it is a great spot to put your feet in the water!

We chose a spot on the sand, eschewing the comfort of the chairs and umbrellas to feel the sand beneath our toes. The water was clear but cold so early in June but the sunshine and sheltered spot warmed us up. It was busy even for early season but a lovely drive from Parikia. A nice day out at the... More

not worth the trip there at all - took one look at the beach and turned back - beach loungers were full already and there was little actual beach space for staying on the sand

We went to this beach twice in 3 days as we loved the calm cool-off shallow waters and nice sandy stretch of beach. Some clothing optional is at the left side from the free parking area, with the umbrellas and loungers to the right. We tried the beach bar only once as the stock was very limited with no snacks... Beautiful, clean beach. Shallow water for a long way out made it very safe especially for children. Plenty of sunbeds and shades to go around for just 8 euros for 2. The chap that ran them also took your orders for drinks and food and brought it to your sunbed. Great service! The taverna on the beach is lovely, didnt... More

Beautiful crystal clear beach, not crowded ( too early in the season ) we had the beach almost to ourselves & I am sure it would be very busy in summer.

My husband and I had a great day here just drinking and chilling out. It's nice to have a really relaxing day like this one interspersed with days doing more active things. I think I spent my whole time here wading in the water with a drink in my hand and listening to the cool music. The beach itself is... More

My wife and I spent a fun afternoon here, generally watching the trendy young locals and tourists. A must for the young ones!

Very nice beach. Your classic tropical style beach with lovely sand in a little cove. However, there are better more secluded beached in Paros so go and find those (Kalimbetheres is one of those).
