Plaka Beach is a wonderfully long sandy beach. The water is crystal clear and good for swimming or snorkelling. There are plenty of tavernas behind the beach if you fancy a spot of lunch or just a drink. Buses go from Naxos Town every half hour in the Summer so is easily accessible if you don't have your own transport.... More

Restaurants in the back and many of them give services also to those who are staying at beach. Quite cheap of getting your own umbrella with sun chair. Would recommend going here for a long day.

We liked the sand at this beach the best. The beach is very big and very long. It has a much more relaxed feel than the other beaches.

I really enjoyed this beach! I met wonderful people and had really good pizza on the beach. The water is clear and beautiful. Easy enough to get to on the bus, less than 20 minute ride from the Naxos Resort.

I went in September for a bath in this beach, which is close to the Chora of Naxos, by bus in 15 min. It was calm, not crowded and had many restaturants and a mini market close. The sea was crystal clear and with a little wind it gave it a wonderful relaxing feeling. Still tourists walking around, not many... More

This long stretch of beach runs from just past Agia Anna down towards Mikri Vigla on the Western coast of Naxos where it looks across to neighbouring Paros. The area is easily accessed by the frequent local busses from Naxos town, and there are a few different stops to suit many tastes. Some stretches are very close to the dusty... More

Plaka has a lovely sandy beach which is long, and has lots of restaurants and bars in the area. A bus runs every 30 minutes from Naxos to the end of the beach and back. The water is so clear and clean. Very relaxing beach area nice for swimming and sunbathing.

A very long, sandy and clean beach. There are many places to stop for the day and lots and lots of restaurants from Greek Tavernas to more modern choices. Beds for hire everywhere but there are plenty of places to sit if you don't want that. The bus can get you there or go by car or bike. Plenty of... More
