We had a hard time finding this place and took many wrong turns, but finally stumbled upon it. The lady that does the tours is the mother of the owner of the factory. She was a lot of fun and has a great sense of humour!!! She led us through the old ways of doing things and the new ways... More

The tour is great, as you can see how olive oils was produced in the old days and how it is done today. Beyond that it was a pleasure to speak with an owner of this factory!

We saw the sign on the side of the road on our way back from the cave and decided to drop by for a visit! The factory is run by a lovely family and the tour itself was extremely informative! We learned how olives are harvested, collected and processed to get a bottle of oil. The factory had equipment from... More

Well worth a visit. An entertaining way to spend 45 minutes and learn about something that is very good for you. No pressure to purchase some oil at the end of the talk but was a must as looked very nice and was very reasonably priced.

Just by chance we drove in this place not knowing what we are going to encounter, and we were there 10 minutes before the closing which was at 6pm! Nevertheless, the owner ( a lovely and bubbly American lady) welcomed us with open arms, and was giving us a nice tour around her factory, about how olive oil is produced... More

Visited her as part of the road train trip. It is run by a wonderfully friendly American who gave an interesting and informative tour. A little taste testing later and a lovely conversation with her mum, I stocked up on my olive oil. A lovely family run place, a very warm welcome and some lovely olive oil. Highly recommended.

If you are near, check it out. Outside of prime season, you will not see the process, only get a tour of equipment. The host is nice, but opinionated. Half the tour is olive oil, the other half is her being an American in Greece. Don't go too far out of your way, but check it out if in the... More

Stopped here for some olive oil and leg-stretching, and ended up staying for about 45 min. Had a free tour guided by a lovely American woman (Sorry, can't remember her/your name). Later we met up with her mother (Also American) and had a long chat along with a British couple. Bought with me some oil and left with a smile... More

Our family trip to Greece this summer brought us to the island of Crete where admittedly we had a habit of getting lost will driving from one place to another. On one such occasion we stumbled across a very welcoming looking sign that read "The Paraschakis Family Olive Oil Factory". The plan (if we ever had one) was to go... More

We spent a good hour talking with Joanna the owner and her mother about people, politics the economy and even olive oil. Very charming and one day I would like to go work on their farm.
