If you want to know how olive oil is made nowadays and how it was done years ago, visit this place. Even though the production of olive oil is done during winter, the explanation on the old and new process is very clear, even when the factory is not working. Drive up and park your car. They are willing to... More

Joanna was the best tour guide! Lively, upbeat and with great comedic timing she showed us her family's farm. She has extensive knowledge about the production and history of oil. She can answer all of your questions! Great excursion for the whole family or solo. Definitely worth the trip!

We had so much fun visiting the Olive Oil Queen of Crete! Good tour and explanation about the process and we enjoyed talking to Joanne. Lost of respect for their hard work in creating a great product. Desperately trying to find the products at home in Holland.

I read about this place before we set off on holiday, and really wanted to visit, not having our own car,i just assumed we would not get to go, as it is so far off the beaten track. One day my partner wasnt feeling too well so we postponed our planned trip to Heraklion, took the local bus to Panormo and spotted the little... Stumbled across this place by accident, very easily passed by. Very informative and made interesting by the American owner. The short tour takes you from traditional olive oil production through to the modern day methods. I would recommend that you link this with a visit to the melodoni caves to make a pleasant afternoon.

Short thus very informative excursion of how the traditional product of Crete - olive oil - has been made through centuries. In this little farm you can see ancient olive oil squeezer run by donkey (it wasn't there, no :)), then similar squeezer run by German diesel in 20th century, and at the end - the modern machine that is... Tour was short but informative. Most enjoyable was getting my questions about the greek culture answered. Could have spoken to Joanna all day - she makes you feel very special! Joanna, I recommend that you have your guests sign a gets book and leave a message; a great keepsake for you and something for your present visitors to browse. Thanks... More
