If you want to know how olive oil is made nowadays and how it was done years ago, visit this place. Even though the production of olive oil is done during winter, the explanation on the old and new process is very clear, even when the factory is not working. Drive up and park your car. They are willing to... More

Joanne welcomed us with open arms. She showed us how they make olive oil today as well as the history of the farm and how they used to make olive oil in the past. Joanne is a super friendly women originally from Massachusetts. The drive up there was beautiful and I am excited to try the olive oil we bought... More

Joanna was the best tour guide! Lively, upbeat and with great comedic timing she showed us her family's farm. She has extensive knowledge about the production and history of oil. She can answer all of your questions! Great excursion for the whole family or solo. Definitely worth the trip!

We had so much fun visiting the Olive Oil Queen of Crete! Good tour and explanation about the process and we enjoyed talking to Joanne. Lost of respect for their hard work in creating a great product. Desperately trying to find the products at home in Holland.

Stumbled across this place by accident, very easily passed by. Very informative and made interesting by the American owner. The short tour takes you from traditional olive oil production through to the modern day methods. I would recommend that you link this with a visit to the melodoni caves to make a pleasant afternoon.

Short thus very informative excursion of how the traditional product of Crete - olive oil - has been made through centuries. In this little farm you can see ancient olive oil squeezer run by donkey (it wasn't there, no :)), then similar squeezer run by German diesel in 20th century, and at the end - the modern machine that is...
