We took friends visiting, from the UK, on a wine tasting trip to this winery. They had never done anything like this before and really enjoyed hearing about the different grapes and the wine they produced. The old barrels and the cool air in the winery was a relief from the hot weather and very interesting with pictures ad information.... More

We visited three wineries in the area and this was the best. Its tasting room is situated in the middle of its scenic vineyards, crowned by snowcapped mountains in the background. The staff couldn't be friendlier, giving us an excellent private tour. Finally, it produces some wonderful wines unique to Crete. Two of its varietals are nearly extinct and found... More

All the positive comments are on the mark! Two hours of pleasure: delicious wine and cheese, and very friendly hosts. Also, no pressure to buy, which is refreshing. Cab it, if possible. $50 euro round trip from near town center of you book through your hotel.

Our group of fifteen people visited this beautiful spot after touring the palace. Turns out that we were several hours late, and it was well past their normal closing hours. We offered to pass on the experience but they wouldn't have it. We sat around the big table and out came heaps of amazing food, and their paired wines. We... More

The winery was breathtaking and so peaceful, we booked the "kerasma" package for two. This included six tasty wines and six Cretan Mezedes. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the food in the package was plentiful and delicious. We even purchased a few bottles to enjoy for the rest of our trip. Our only issue was finding the winery. The... More
