cretaquarium is situated in the former US base, rather difficult to reach from most tourist places but really nice. Hope they can survive the crisis... More

It offers a good variety of spieces, quite impressive, mostly for kids. It offers audial persinal guide, which is very helpful. The sharks are dominating this exhibition that can be characterised medium worth seeing. More

beautiful fish. the place has got free wifi and is situated on a beautiful beach with great view. although 5 kms outside the city (in gournes about halfway between iraklio city and hersonissos) it is very worth your while especially if you like nature. the ticket price is rationally anot very cheap but not too expensive. A great attraction but not easy to find by public transport. You have to walk through a derelict army/air force base to find it but it is worth the trek More

This is definitely the best aquarium I've been compared to the aquarium in La Rochelle in France, the aquarium in London and the one in Berlin Zoo. This a place you should not miss if you visit Crete. More

Aquarium was fairly extensive & had a guided recorded tour in many languages with lots of additional details for 3 Euros. No blockbuster exhibit & several tanks were empty. Cafeteria food was also just average. Not a bad way to spend a morning or afternoon in Dec when nothing else much is open but wouldn't recommend it during season when... More
