A nice afternoon sightseeing

A lighthearted afternoon trip with some fantastic views of Spinalonga, Plaka and over Elounda. Not overly educational just a fun way to see the sights!

Quite a nice way to spend the afternoon. We went into Plaka, had 20 minutes there ( which was ok for us as we had been there before), and then up into the mountains to two very small quaint villages, a stop at a taverna and back down. The other people on our train were lovely and we had a... More

Went on this train as there are two & this one went to 2 villages as well as stopping in Plaka & giving you time to walk through. Left at 12.45pm so asked if there would be a stop for some lunch - we did in one of the villages with agreement of the other 6 passengers. Information provided as... More

This is probably one of the most amazing trips that I have ever been on, I really do recommend this trip if you are interested in seeing how people live in Crete. This amazing tour offers the opportunity to connect with residents of the smaller villages in the surrounding areas of Elounda. The tour guide Ziggy was amazing and provided... More

We went on the half day tour up into the villages in the mountains. We sat on the back carriage which sways a little but it made it even more fun! Our 17 and 20 year olds thought it was hilarious. The olive factory and villages were a great experience. The guide was very informative. A good day out.

Took the train into the mountains and had a pleasant walk about, excellent photo opportunities and a chance to see a little more of the local culture.

We' ve found happy train by accident. It was great to find out that the guide speaks Polish. She encouraged us to go to the village up in the mountains. The village is amazing with lovely architecture, nice people and breathtaking views.

We took the shorter ride to a destination with a 10 minute stopover for an ice cream cup. We and the kids had a very good time.
