Lovely little ride to Plaka. Great views of Spinalonga! Could do with a new sound system though as quite difficult to hear all the commentary!

We did a lot of walking and thought we'd covered the area around the town during the week, the train trip took us all over the area and we got to see things we might not have seen otherwise. When we go again we'll do the longer trip! We enjoyed it!

This was a nice train tour, it was 1hr long which was a perfect amount of time. We went up a mountain and saw lovely views of Crete. Would definitely recommend

The £6 that you spend on this trip is well worth it, as you will see parts of Agios Nikolaos that you would not if you were lying on the beach or by the pool.

on arriving in the town of Aghios Nikolaos, with only a few hours to spare from a cruise, one asks themselves what to do in this town once the shopping has been completed - go on the train tour. you get to see both sides of the town and the information is in English, its well worth the money and... Took the journey to Vrouhas, which was approx 3 hours in all and cost 15euros per adult. Lovely views, stopped off at Vrouhas with a guided tour round ending up at a taverna for bight to eat and something to drink before heading back to Elounda. Not a bad trip.

Quaint little trip, nice touch for the kiddies and great if you haven't got a car. Takes you to the most popular venues, and offers some advice on Tavernas and beaches.

We did the 70 mins trip from Ag Nik to Kallithea which was interesting. Then came back and say other parts of Ag Nik which we hadn't see before. A good trip to do if you get a day which is cloudy .

We walked past the little train stop every day and decided to try tour number 3 which goes to the little village of Kritsa a few miles out of Aghios Nikolaos in the hills above the town. In the information for the tour the ruined palace of Lato is mentioned and it all sounds very interesting. The cost is 20... More

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your excursion.I know that the ticket seller in the harbour tried to explain to everybody who was going on the trip that the programs were old [new ones now in ciculation] and that we would not be going to the Lato sight. I am sorry if this was not made... More

We joined the 3hr train tour on October 11th. The tour visits an olive oil farm, then goes to a town/church up in the hills overlooking Agios Nikolaos, and finishes with a visit to the village of Kritsos. The tour is very basic and it is very difficult to hear and understand the speaker who we assumed was giving some... More
