Took the journey to Vrouhas, which was approx 3 hours in all and cost 15euros per adult. Lovely views, stopped off at Vrouhas with a guided tour round ending up at a taverna for bight to eat and something to drink before heading back to Elounda. Not a bad trip.

Quaint little trip, nice touch for the kiddies and great if you haven't got a car. Takes you to the most popular venues, and offers some advice on Tavernas and beaches.

We did the 70 mins trip from Ag Nik to Kallithea which was interesting. Then came back and say other parts of Ag Nik which we hadn't see before. A good trip to do if you get a day which is cloudy .

We walked past the little train stop every day and decided to try tour number 3 which goes to the little village of Kritsa a few miles out of Aghios Nikolaos in the hills above the town. In the information for the tour the ruined palace of Lato is mentioned and it all sounds very interesting. The cost is 20... More

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your excursion.I know that the ticket seller in the harbour tried to explain to everybody who was going on the trip that the programs were old [new ones now in ciculation] and that we would not be going to the Lato sight. I am sorry if this was not made... More

We joined the 3hr train tour on October 11th. The tour visits an olive oil farm, then goes to a town/church up in the hills overlooking Agios Nikolaos, and finishes with a visit to the village of Kritsos. The tour is very basic and it is very difficult to hear and understand the speaker who we assumed was giving some... More

The train picks you up next to where the cruise ships dock, They do two tours, one was an hour and one I think for two hours. They have a tour guide who was very knowledgable and friendly. We opted for the longer tour which took us way up into the hills with stunning views across the coast line. It... More

Not the usual sort of thing we would do but had a great afternoon and met some brilliant people! We opted for the longest tour which took you first to an olive farm. You get to see how it was made many years ago and taste the lovely olives, oil, olive paste, raki and wine amongst other things. Next stop... More

We spent 10 days in Crete near Agios Nikolaos and went on the Little Train twice - we did excursion 2 which lasts just over an hour and takes you up the coast just short of Elounda - the views are spectacular. We enjoyed it so much we then went on excursion 3 which lasts nearly 4 hours (with stops)... More

We stopped at this port of Agios Nikolaos while on a cruise ship. As the tours on our ship were not good value and I get motion sick on buses we decided on the Little train tour. I loved it. It was very Informative and we got excellent views, and on a very hot day it was actually cooler on... More

If you have been on the semi-submarine boat trip, present either the card from the booking office or your tickets to the train booking office and you will get a discount on the price. (This also works in reverse) We went on excursion 2, which went up into the hills surrounding Aghios Nikolaos. This gave us stunning views on the... More

Glad to hear that you enjoyed doing Excursion 2 with us. We started the discount cards with the yellow submarine this season to try and encourage tourist to do more than one thing while visiting our town. It's worked really well and hopefully will carry on in the years to come. Thank you for joining us More
