Leaving from the quay at Agios Nikolaos, the semi submersible boat – coloured distinctively yellow – offers at 90 minute excursion at 1100, 1300 and 1500 each day. The charge for an adult is 15 euros but if you have used the nearby Tourist Train you get 10% discount. We enjoyed the trip: Goods: The boat was very clean; there... More

We stayed at Acti Olous Hotel Elounda Crete. Only 2.20 euros bus trip to Aghios Nicolaos. Stop at port and semi submarine glass sided lower deck boat is easily found. Ask in tourist office. Perfect shoals of fish of many species. I fell in love with a gigantic female turtle who swooped upwards from the depths to catch scraps of... More

This is a great trip that would suit any age. The views of the marine life are great and we were lucky enough to see a turtle as it swam right up to the boat.We were dubious at first about taking the trip as my wife is disabled but the crew could not have been more helpful as they helped... More

This is a great way to spend 1 hr 30 mins, if you have the time on your holiday you should do it! The boat leaves ag nik harbour at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, you can't miss it, it's big and yellow! It is 15 euros per adult, children 10 euros (aged 6 - 12), 4 euros (aged 3 -5),... More

The first part of the tour, where you all sit 'downstairs' to view underwater life is very interesting. We were lucky enough to see a turtle close by, which was fascinating. The second half, when you are on deck, is more like a commercial for the various resorts in and around AN. The guy doing English and Dutch commentary spoke... More

We took this trip on the recommendation of other guests at our hotel. The beginning of the trip is above board on the boat and the view of Agios Nikolaos as we were leaving the harbour is terrific. You are then invited to go below into the hull where you are underwater. We saw lots of fish, eels and a... More

Great value for money. 15 Euros for about an hour and a half. Very clean boat with drinks and snacks. Very good English speaking crew with loads of knowledge. I saw many types of fish which the guide talked about and also moray eels and best of all a turtle. Brilliant day with good photos. Thankyou.

A fun way to enjoy the sea fishes & fissures. Crew knowledgable & friendly. When surface sightseeing good views of fancy, pricey houses to lust over. Not expensive and a touch of fun for all ages.

Lovely concept, unfortunately if you get on the 'inside' bench of the 'sub' bit then all you can see is the people in the opposite 'hub' and the fish below. You may also get to glimpse across and see the amazing sight of 100's of fish that the 'outside' benches witness if someone moves to one side for you....Disappointed, very... More
