A number of these trips are advertised as Submarine trips but are really glass bottom boats that look like submarine (ish). They are still very enjoyable and with a good crew they can explain about the fish and coral that can be clearly seen. The boats are stable and airy

Crete island is beautiful and unique island , but noone can imagine how magnificent is the underwater world. The Board environment is simply excellent, captain and crew with their seamless behaviour create a sense of security. Underwater experience just unique. Starting from the port of Agios Nikolaos, you have already got a taste of what will follow, as the boat... More

A very good trip, overall it takes about 90 min to do the trip. It's very relaxing watching the fish and being able to see them up close. Sadly we didn't see any turtles, but did see some eels and millions and millions of fishes. They keep stopping the boat and feeding the fish so they come up close to... More

I did this little boat trip as a spur of the moment decision while strolling through Agios Nikolaus. And was pleasantly surprised. The staff were courteous and helpful. They pointed out the fish especially when there was something special such as Moray eels, turtles etc. Saw loads of other little fish as well. Recorded commentary was useful too. 16€ well... More

This was worth every penny, sadly we didn't get to see any sea turtles or dolphins but to visit the ocean in a submarine was certainly fun, there were many fish attracted by food so you could get a really close look at them, the only annoyance was that the fish were explained over loudspeakers and the german one was... the trip lasts about 1.5hrs with an hour under water. We saw loads of different species of fish including a giant turtle which were really nice to see. the last part of the trip was on deck around the resort. You also get a card when booking the trip that gives a discount on the sight seeing train or boat... More

Something really different! Very fun for adults too, got to see some turtles. Not so nice for those sitting face inside, you dont really see much from there. Otherwise worth 16 e.
