After finding the olive oil farm on trip advisor and noticing the cheap entrance fee of €1.50 per adult and children free we decided to pop by and visit. We were given a tour around the farm by a lovely gentleman who was happy to respond to any questions- not only about the farm but he also recommended other areas... More

Only a 5 min walk from our hotel (Mirabello). Family run business - arrived around 11:00am. Wandered around the herb garden. Tour costs 1.50 Euro but there was nobody around so we wondered around on our own. There is a well stocked shop selling their produce from olive oil to soaps to Raki.

Hello, Thank you for the review, just want to inform you and all of our future guests that when requested, we give tours daily from 9.30 to 18.30 except Sundays which is 10.00 to 13.00. The small token of 1.50€ would be for the whole experience of guiding (around the museum and down to the olive farm), collecting herbs and... More

We were told by our rep to go and visit the olive farm as we wouldn't regret it, he was right. It was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel (the Mirabello) and for 1.5€ was worth the visit. It was a wonderful insight to how local produce was made before machinery. It's family run, who were friendly and... More

I'm so glad we visited. It was only up the road from our hotel and worth a trip. We arrived approximately 10.00am and were the only visitors but were greeted by Abi their friendly and playful little dog! The "tour" cost 1.50 euros. They showed us around the herb garden and explained how the olive oil and wine used to... More

An absolute must-see in Ag Nik! It was fascinating and beautiful. Costa, the guide, was really very friendly and interesting and really made the place come to life. There are many tasters to have and there are so many interesting products to buy. We bought loads and it came to a ridiculously cheap amount.

Fantastic place to visit. Admission was under 2 euros each - children free. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. My children had pottery lessons priced at just 3 euros each.

A really nice way to pass an hour or so, being shown the workings of a Cretan olive farmhouse from bygone days, and the opportunity to buy some of the very best olive oil, tapenade and other products. Anyone staying in the Mirabello Hotel and Village is well placed as it's literally a couple of hundred yards down the road.

This was very enjoyable, we went there with our hotel animation team, was very interesting. We found out that olive oil doesn't actually come from olives x
