We were told by our rep to go and visit the olive farm as we wouldn't regret it, he was right. It was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel (the Mirabello) and for 1.5€ was worth the visit. It was a wonderful insight to how local produce was made before machinery. It's family run, who were friendly and... More

I'm so glad we visited. It was only up the road from our hotel and worth a trip. We arrived approximately 10.00am and were the only visitors but were greeted by Abi their friendly and playful little dog! The "tour" cost 1.50 euros. They showed us around the herb garden and explained how the olive oil and wine used to... More

An absolute must-see in Ag Nik! It was fascinating and beautiful. Costa, the guide, was really very friendly and interesting and really made the place come to life. There are many tasters to have and there are so many interesting products to buy. We bought loads and it came to a ridiculously cheap amount.

Fantastic place to visit. Admission was under 2 euros each - children free. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. My children had pottery lessons priced at just 3 euros each.

A shop enterprise fronted by cretan props with no actual integrity. Maybe fine for kids and bored sightseers, but no actual desire to show Cretan life than sell shop goods. Why use animals? Donkey in questionable welfare state with bleeding scabs and showing signs of stress & boredom, using a tyre collar and rope harness that rubbed. Sorry spent sad... More

We are a family business ran by the family except for our lovely russian guide, most of the products are our own or soaked in our olive oil for avoiding conservatives and for a better taste. Let's talk about the animals then, the chickens are running around free which annoys me but my father loves them apparently, the rabbits have... More

A really nice way to pass an hour or so, being shown the workings of a Cretan olive farmhouse from bygone days, and the opportunity to buy some of the very best olive oil, tapenade and other products. Anyone staying in the Mirabello Hotel and Village is well placed as it's literally a couple of hundred yards down the road.

This was very enjoyable, we went there with our hotel animation team, was very interesting. We found out that olive oil doesn't actually come from olives x

We visited the Olive Oil Farm as part of the Mini-Train tour number 3 to Kritsa. The guide was very informative and the shop has lots of nice products for sale. It provides a fascinating insight into how olive oil was made over the years and makes you appreciate how laborious the process once was. It's on the outskirts of... More
