Osios Lukas monastery is a complex of buildings set on a hillside near Distomo, a few miles from Arachova near Delphi. It is a World Heritage site. My family visited Osios Lukas in May 2007. It is an easy side trip if you are visiting Delphi. It is off the beaten path, but a beautiful example of an ancient monastery with flawless mosaics.
