We booked the High Speed 5 from Santorini to Mykonos and loved it! We were in the VIP section, and thought it was totally worth the extra price. The VIP section is on the top of the boat, with super comfortable leather seats, a bar and a cafe. The business and economy sections looked OK but VIP is definitley the... More

Traveled late April 2014 between Heraklion and Santorini. The crossing was very choppy and probably more than 80% of the passengers, including myself, suffered from seasickness. Despite this, the staff remained calm and courteous, kept the cabin as clean as possible, distributed sick bags and collected waste continuously. I was very grateful for the excellent care and customer service.

Read a lot of negative reviews here and it made me nervous but found it to be a pleasant trip. I bought my tickets online ahead of time and then picked them up at the gate for departure with no problems. The economy with table seats are nice with more leg room but two chairs facing two other chairs. The... More

This is one of the main companies of ferries and flying cats boats. The boats are quite fast and modern but is still manage by greek so don't expect a polite service and a smile. The service is basically a transport service so they would take you from A to B when they can and as fast as they manage... More

Took the high speed #5 from Santorini to Paros and then from Paros on to Mykonos 3 days later. You do get the feeling like your in a herd of cattle but overall it seems efficient and it works. The first leg arrived on schedule and left it seems like no more than 10 minutes later. The Paros to Mykonos... More

We travelled from santorini to mykonos on the hellenic seaways Highspeed 5. Based on our experience which I believe is not unique I have a few recommendations for travelers. 1) do not join a queue or even wait, the moment boat arrives all hell breaks loose, there are no queues and you get herded like cattle. There were lots of... More

We were forced to take Hellenic becos Seajet cancelled the ferry. We were on route from Mykonos to Santorini. It was late for for than 45 mins. No announcement or guide to keep the passengers informed. A whole bunch of tourist waited outside the terminal under the hot sun. We were assigned seatings. There is no open air platform where... We travelled from Santorini to Mykonos at the start of June 2014 on High Speed 5 (the green goblin as we nicknamed it). We were on our honeymoon and so thought we would treat ourselves to 2 VIP tickets at a cost of Eur 65 (but you can go economy for about Eur 55). The voyage was fine, the seats... More

Excellent return trip from Crete to Santorini on the High Speed 5 - a superfast boat that made the trip in less than 2 hours. Reserved seats that are as comfortable as business class even though they are economy. On-time arrivals, Great staff. Excellent.

We made a 3 day trip from Crete to Santorini. We booked our ferry tickets at 2 different companies. To Santorini we went by Sea Jets and back to Crete we'd booked Hellenic Seaways. WOW.....what a difference. Hellenic seaways is soooooo much better. Really...it is cleaner, you get your own seat (seat number on the ticket) and is much faster... More
