On time sometimes

Took the HS4 from Oia to Mykonos. Having never experienced a high speed ocean ferry, I was impressed by the process. It was like cattle boarding the back of the vessel. After stowing the luggage, we headed up to the seating deck. We hadn't even found our seats and the boat had already departed. It was fast, efficient and smooth.... More

We took the Highspeed 4 from Athens to Santorini, and then the Highspeed 6 from Santorini to Mykonos, both times in VIP. Baggage storage is a little dicey down in the cargo hold. Wind was quite strong both time, however the boat cuts through the waves and is quite stable. Book via the Hellenic Seaways website rather than 3rd party... More

The ferries themselves are sometimes clean and sometimes not so much, so be ready for everything. Some we took were very comfortable, on time and clean. Several weren't. I suppose it depends and we went in August, peak season and so alot of pressure on all the ferry systems...just book ahead, reconfirm and track when they should arrive as the... More

If there is one thing I would have changed on my trip to Athens, I would have spent the night on Hydra Island.....No cars, no motorized vehicles, just a beautiful island and residents plans to keep it that way.

People in Greece are amazing with exception of the staff of the sea dolphins. From the people in the office to every single person on the boat are super rude, careless and not customers oriented at all. You can realise it is a monopoly service because no one put a minimum effort to be at least polite with passengers. Their... More

Visited Athens & Mykonos last September/October for a birthday trip. After a lot of research, I booked a "slow" ferry from Athens to Mykonos as the fast one was not available at the time I was looking for. The "slow" ferry was VERY slow. The website said 2hours, took 3.5hrs to arrive to the island! Ride was smooth, just very... More

I was travelling on Hellenic Seaways on the Flying Dolphin boat to Aegina Island. Going there on a day-trip I chose this company to get there faster. I booked the ticket online for the 11:00 departure. At 10:55, we were told that the boat was going to be delayed by 30mins and that if we wanted we could change our... More

We used flying dolphin from / to Pireaus - Poros. Unfortunatelly seating is limited due to its size and we had to book with another ferry that takes 3 hours from Pireaus. Cabin is little noisy and a/c went off twice during the journey. We booked our friday tickets on wednesday since the reseller said limited seating left. Considering the... More

We really enjoyed using the flying cat from Hydra to Pireas (Athens). The boat was on time and very orginised. Over all a nice trip and the fact that they have an everest on board is a nice thing. I would recommend choosing the cat over the dolphin as it is more spacious and comfortable

It was a good experience transferring both to and back from Santorini to Athens by the high speed ferry. Very comfortable and efficient. This is a big ferry accommodates upto 200 cars and a 1000 passengers with pre seating. Try to book a table seating preferable in row A or Z in economy class as these rows are next to... More
