The new museum is an architectural wonder in itself. Displays of many periods Greek sculpture in a spacious setting. There is a fine restaurant in the museum. Entrance fee is 1 euro, a great bargain. Fee may go up to 5 euros in Jan 2010. No photography allowed inside the museum, however the view from the second floor outside cafe is great. Wow - one of those places you would visit just to see the building itself never mind its mind-blowing exhibits. Take a moment to watch visitors when they realise they are walking on a glass floor above an exposed ruins even before they go in - priceless!
