My sister and I did a half day Food Tour of Athens. What fun. Artemis Olympidou was a wealth of information and kept us completely entertained. The pace was perfect and we came home with some great spices, oil etc. I highly recommend this tour.

We regularly book "eat and walk" tours as we travel around Europe, and by far and away this was the best one we've experienced. Despina, our guide, was a wealth of knowledge, funny, and absolutely wonderful with children (ours are picky eaters). All-in-all, this tour is well worth the price.

My husband and I went to Greece this last September. We were recommended the Athens Food Tour from a friend and it ended up being our favorite activity while in Athens! Not only do you get to eat a lot of Greek food, you also get to see the city, learn some history, and explore local shops. We highly recommend!

I have taken this tour with two different groups and it was excellent both times. The history and culture of Athens from a culinary aspect are covered in this 3 hour tour through the middle of Athens (the actual walking is about ~45mins). The tour guide was knowledgeable and informative, and provided an interesting overview that is captivating for teens... More

This food tour was the very first thing we booked for our vacation after our flights and it did not disappoint!!! Despina was so informative and fun to listen to and talk with. There was not one thing that we tried that I did not like and seeing the non-touristy side of Athens was a welcomed refresher.

I really wanted to go on a food tour - and since we had the time - I found this tour and it was excellent. Out tour guide was so knowledgeable - not only on food but the culture and religious factors that influenced the food - it was very educational. I plan to recommend this to everyone that goes... We booked this tour last minute on our last day and had no regrets! Our guide Vicky was delightful, informative and passionate about her work. This tour is not only about the food, but also Greek culture. In 3 hours we were able to experience Athens away from the crowds, enjoy local foods and get a feel for the people.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the three hour food walking tour of Athens. Our guide Artemis was a delight, very friendly and outgoing with a great sense of humour. We found the tour well balanced, offering us small tastes and smells of many Greek foods, plus the opportunity of walking through the food markets, seeing them very much in action. Highly recommend... More
