Already reviewed as "Megaron" above: it's the same venue! Athens Concert Hall is the English title of the Megaron --please see review above!

It's amazing as a building and the concerts are wonderful! It's easy to be reached because of the metro station, which is almost outside the athens Consert Hall! If you visit Athens don't miss it, read on line the program and find out which one of the conserts you like and go! You will have a great time especially if you... More

Well equipped, dull, double concert - opera auditorium next to the American Embassy. A most expensive and time consuming operation, that was the making of it, with the deepest underground 'well' for the garage. The controversial 'visionary' Lambrakis completed it and possibly misspent the funds in order to create a Bayreuth of sorts. Fine ensembles (symphonic) were traditionally invited. The... More

It's a place where many great artists have performance: Mariinsky Theatre, Jiri Kylian, etc. I have listened to the operetta (a local theatre) and got a great pleasure!

Always something happening at the Megaron. See their website for more info, but be warned: everything is almost always sold out!

This modern concert hall built after much controversy has rewarded the world of music with an outstanding place in eastern europe capable of hosting the best orchestras.

The conference I attended was held here. Able to accommodate such a large crowd with still room to move. The various theatres, rooms where presentations were held have good audio. Seating is comfortable. Facilities clean & well placed.

When this place was opened we were all happy to have as well as other big cities our own concert hall! Well,it has been a great dissapointment not to be able to find student (that's what we were back then) tickets even from the very first day! When I have managed to get cheap tickets last minute at the Royal... More

Went to two concerts at the Megaro Mussiki. Great accoustics here. Heard Musicum Aeternum, an amazing Russian orchestra and also the Vienna Philharmonic. If you're into classical music, go here!
