We'd been wanting to do this for a while so took the opportunity on a rainy night in Athens! Friendly staff led us through the process and we were glad we gave it a try! It was interesting, soothing, funny and just a great fun thing to do. The bonus is the smooth feet afterwards! Give yourself a treat! It... More

I received a very bad service for the eyebrows threading I asked for. The lady cut my skin on both my eye-contour by using the thread. Blood came out and after 5 days I still have scars between my eyebrows and my eyes . Very bad quality. Don't trust this. I also had a waxing: this was standard service and... More

I went here with my mother for a massage since we both were exhausted after traveling for over two months. My mom got the fish skin treatment for the first time and she loved it (after laughing a lot because it tickles). We both got a relaxing one-hour massage and it was overall solid. The staff was friendly too.

Went there with a friend, and we both loved the fish spa. It was so much fun, and very different, and our feet were all soft and nice when we were done. It was a bit strange though, to walk around bare-footed in the hall and we had to wash our feet in this really tiny shower and then walk... More

It worths MAYBE a visit for a quick "fish massage", but if you're looking for a real massage it's better to avoid to waste time and money in this place. Staff is rude and unprofessional. Treatments cabin is shabby, basic furniture, neon lights (which are not switched off during the treatment), not soundproofed (ant it means VERY noisy with scream... More

We went in for an oil body massage, for my wife and I. While it was a relaxing experience, it was not near professional.

We walked past the Doctor Fish - Foot Therapy & Day Spa twice during our last stroll through the tourist shopping district of Plaka and I decided to give it a try. After the initial tickling feeling I began to relax and enjoy the nibbling fish treatment. To my surprise after only 10 minutes my feet felt smooth and refreshed.... More

I got a Hollywood wax from here, and it was the best I've ever had...hardly felt it and great result. Staff were fantastic at making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I went here because of the reviews I'd read as accommodating walk ins but had to book for two days after the initial day I went in...maybe it's different for... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
