A big thank you to MICHAELA who was our tour guide for Delphi - Meteora - very informative - comfortable transport and the First Class Acommodation overnight in Kalambaka was lovely. I attended the tour in April just before Easter with my teenage daughter.

Thank you to Eleni Paida and the Fantasy Travel collaborators for an outstanding vacation to Greece. You made our trip relaxing, worry free and first class. From the moment we stepped off the plane we were in good hands. Transfers were professional and informative. The hotels, with superior view rooms and including breakfast, were in ideal locations and beautiful. Our... More

I contacted Fantasy Travel to organize a Greek island cruise and 2 night hotel stay in Athens for my husband and I. Vicky responded to my inquiries and gave me a quote for a package deal which included the cruise, transfers to and from the airport and cruise terminal, and a stay in a beautiful hotel in Old Town Athens.... We arranged our travel through Fantasy Travel with Litsa Chistou! Making the arrangements, I was somewhat hesitant considering working with a travel agent so far away...Greece. However, I would email Litsa in the afternoon, and with the time difference, I would receive a return email answering any questions by the following morning. We chose the "Pursuit of Pleasure" trip package... More

We absolutely loved our experience with Fantasy Travel! We like to tour on our own for the most part, but, we needed someone who could coordinate the transfers, rental cars, ferries, flights, and hotels within Greece since it can be tricky to decipher schedules and ticketing on our own. Nikos from Fantasy coordinated everything so that we could get everywhere... More

We used Fantasy Travel to book most of our trip to Greece and Litsa did a fantastic job of helping us select our hotels, tours, transfers, etc. The associated travel companies that we worked with on islands outside of Athens were also very efficient and helpful and it was so nice to have one contact at Fantasy Travel and the... Eleni set up for me a fantastic itinerary hitting all the places to visit, that would suit me on my first visit to Greece. Wherever necessary she organized taxis to meet me and take me to my destination - amazingly they all appeared on time(even at 4.00am one morning) and had knowledgeable drivers. Eleni also suggested that I visit three... More

We had Fantasy Travel arrange transportation and lodging at various sites in Greece. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of their services, as well as those of their associated travel companies on the islands. Everything went flawlessly, the various associates went beyond what we would have expected, getting us boarding passes, checking our luggage and shepherding us all the... More

Worked with Vicki to extend a friends destination event on Santorini to other Islands and Athens. Fantasy handled all hotel and transfer arrangements, plus a tour of Athens. All was handled smoothly and professionally.

We have just returned from a wonderful Greek holiday arranged by Vicky from Fantasy Travel. The service right from the moment we arrived in Athens was wonderful, we were met by a staff member from Fantasy travel who tool us through our documents and made sure we got into the taxi to our hotel. We were then escorted to the... More

Staying in Syntagma

Neighborhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
