The baths are lovely. Services are ok, though make sure to specify if you prefer a female masseuse, because you will be SUPER exposed during the massage. We tried the facial and massage. The facial is more or less just a scrub. It's ok, but not what you might expect if you've had many other facials. It's certainly different, and... More

This place was amazing. We went on our first night in town. It was so relaxing and a fun activity to do as a couple. It was everything you would expect and worth the money and time. The facility was clean, peaceful, and comfortable. They have accessible hours, we went in the late evening and it was a nice way... More

One of the best experience in our city. I have a very serious issue with my spine and i am very difficult visiting places for masaz or hammam as the dangers of a new injury are high. I have to say that this place is highly recommended by me. i left feeling great, no pain and my whole body was... More

I booked this for my boyfriends birthday when we were visiting athens. For 45 euros each, we paid for the Ali-hammam experience which was worth the money! The masseuses were incredible, definitely knew what they were doing and we felt pampered to the brim. After the massages we were able to sit in the lounge, enjoy complimentary delights (which were... We had a great experience there and we chose the full program with massage. It is not cheap but it is worth for once in a while to pamper yourself and enjoy a nice massage. The place is clean and the personnel is professional. I recommend it!

Must visit this place!! My friends and I went on our last day in Athens, and had the Ali-Mamma. It was wonderful, worked out all the sore muscles from walking 7-10 miles a day for the past 6 days.

Went for a standard hammam treatment, which doesn't sound like much reading their website, but involves a full massage which lasts 30 minutes, hot stone sauna to relax in, tea and turkish delight, and full use of a room with hairdryers, beauty products etc. Bliss inducing and well worth the money. A similar experience in the UK would cost at least... More

I spent the afternoon at this spa with my daughter in March. We both agreed that it was one of the highlights of our trip to Athens! Christina was a wonderful masseuse and very kind. We loved this spa and it is one of the best ever visited. Very similar to hammam experiences in Turkey, only better!!!

My husband and I went here following all the good reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff were friendly and the resting area was nice. The self service hammam experience was a bit weird though - it did not seem very good value for money and there were too many people in the heated area for it to... More

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
