Pick was 2:05 but we didn't leave Athens until 3:15. The guide Katia was knowledgeably and informative. This trip takes about and hour and a quarter to the southern most part of Attica and is a nice drive along the coast. On arriving at the temple (spectacular) there was a short information session and some time to reflect on the... More

We did the Delphi day trip from Athens. It was a very good tour. Our guide was very informative and polite. It rained but was a great experiance. The only negitive was lunch. Next time I will not do the group lunch. It was not good. I would of much rather eaten in a local resturant in town as several... More

Fantastic Guide, Well Planned, Nice Bus, Not-Good Rest-Stops 4-day tour, Olympia, Delphi, Meteora Tour was run by CHAT tours. -Rest stop were frequent, every1-2 hours. Some of the places were sub-standard like; one had NO TOILET SEATS, one had limited food selections, some did not take credti card. Otherwise restops were clean, plenty of food/drink optoins. -Lunches, which were on... More

Went to Delphi and Meteora from athens. Delphi and Meteora are very far away from Athens and i think joining a local tour is a convenient and reasonable choice. The guides were knowledgeable and responsible and the tour was quite well-organized. It took 2 hours by bus from Athens to Delphi and a further 2 hours to Meteora. There were... More

We had the half day tour of Athens in the morning including the acropolis museum. Although the tour was very informative, the guide did soooo much talking that you had very little free time to take photos. You'll need good walking shoes because you have to walk up to the top of the Acropolis via steps not via the easier... More

Find another tour. The guide spoke too much about nothing giving you very little time for pictures or your own ventures. (No time at all) this was the tour of the Acropolis and Museum. Find a tour that will give you interesting points of the sites. Then allows you more than 5 minutes to take your pics and walk around.

I very rarely give a "terrible" review, but I feel I have no choice, as I emailed the company to give them the opportunity to address my grievances before I wrote the review, but have been blatantly ignored. I did the half day Corinth Tour. The tour itself was fine - not exactly a life changing experience, but as it... More

It has been a terribile Experience and a waste of money. The city night tour was to quick and the explanations from the guide very superficial. The dinner was poor and of bad quality. Greek dancers were great but the entire show was a mix of international songs and dance with no connection with the Greek culture and with the... More

Good overall tour. Got picked up at our hotel and then had to switch buses at the Amalia hotel. Two hours on the bus before the first rest stop which was just a 20 minutes and there were a other few buses there. Then another hour to Delphi but hte road was very scenic and the guide gave us lots... More

This tour was advertised as : "an evening tour with a pleasant panoramic drive ........ The Acropolis, illuminated and mysterious will captivate your sight. Passing from the Old Olympic Stadium,...................Finally we walk through the narrow pedestrian streets of Plaka the old city of Athens, to dine in a Greek typical restaurant with floor folklore show..........dancers in traditional costumes" We were... Staying in Syntagma

Neighborhood Profile
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
