We were on a Team Offsite , a group of 21 persons and we had a mixed of Segways and Bicycles around Athens. It was absolutely perfect and so well organized. The team from Segway Athens were just so nice and fun and they make the activity to be as perfect as it could be. We had a wonderful time... More

Our first Segway tour was of Paris which was excellent. This tour od Athens was disappointing compared as the guide did not give us much information on the sights we were viewing. Apart from that the tour is a bit short and doesn't cover a big area. Natasha was very nice otherwise thank you.

My son drove me mad wanting to go on one and I gave in even though I had never been on one! I was very nervous but the training by Natasha made me feel at ease very quickly. We enjoyed doing it and went on a brilliant tour around Athens to areas we may not have reached as the walking... More

I was going to book a Segway tour online, however the Athens Segway website is not a great website for information such as prices etc. I did some research and found that some tour operators were charging around 50-60 Euros per tour. I decided to wait until we arrived in Athens to sort out our Segway tour. I recommend you... More

This was my first time on a Segway and unfortunately I think the fact that it was in Athens has put me off similar tours elsewhere as these guys can take you round some amazing sights rather than just a boring park (as is often the case in other cities). It was a really great experience and the guide was... More

My family loves segway tours. Its almost embarrassing how much we like them, because we go on them in every city we go to. This was hands down one of the best segway tours we have ever been on. The guide was super informative, and he made sure the entire group was engaged throughout the entire time. I really liked... More

Segway is ideal for exploring Athens in a fun and efficient way. We opted for the Acropolis tour. Our guide was lovely and she would stop off at all the important landmarks to tell us about Greek history and let us take photos. It was such a great experience that we are thinking to go back to do the Natural... More

My 17 yr old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this even though it was a really cold day.I was really nervous but we had an excellent guide, natasha, who showed us how to ride the segway and then we went on a really good tour.I would thoroughly recommend this.

This was our second Segway tour and we, again, found it to be a great way to introduce is to a new city. The shop is not easy to find but we phoned and they came to collect us from the acropolis station within mins.

In general, the staff is very polite, helpful and pleasant. The segway: the staff gives you specific directions and useful advice on how to use the segway, as well as adequate time to practice before starting the tour. This was my first time on a segway and I really enjoyed it. As the staff told us, if you follow the... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
