We came here to start our boat tour. Nice place to linger around in the morning and get some nice photos.

We had already been to see James Bond Island up north on a bit of a dodgy tour so weren't quite sure what to expect from this one. But when we arrived at the marina we realized immediately that the tour was going to be run professionally. They greeted us with coffee and tea and gave us time to get... More

We arrived at the Marina only to be told that our day trip to Phi Phi island was cancelled due to rough seas which was a massive disappointment. We rescheduled but were once more disappointed as the seas remained rough and the waves high.

The Marina is pretty and quaint with a number of upmarket shops and restaurants. This doesn't feel like Phuket though... it reminded me of the Cape Town waterfront but on a smaller and quieter scale. I would definitely visit this again. The only downside was the distance to get there from the Kamal, Patong, etc side of the island.

We came here to get our speedboat to the Phi-Phi islands. We had an hour or so before our boat left so we had a good look around. It was very quiet except for the people milling about at the various trip offices getting flippers etc. There were a few shops and a couple of restaurants. Very new and stylish.... More

Upon arrival at the SeaStar reception at the Royal Phuket Marina there was a selection of complementary water, tea, coffee, toast and biscuits, which was very welcome, considering our 7am start from Khao Lak. There was also a free supply of travel sickness pills. Flippers were for rent at 100 baht. There then followed a talk about the days itinerary,... More
