We visited this lovely beach with silver sands on a public holiday. It was, unexpectedly, very busy with many family enjoying the good weather, and the beautiful beach and warm clear waters. The beach bars were full and impromptu cricket matches on the track. But the major drawbacks are that there is very little shelter from sun, and secondly, this... More

The beach is nice and castaways restaurant was good , but look out for the people harassment! As soon as we got out of the taxi they started. Don't mind someone asking me to by something or a service , but accept no for an answer. We went there to spend the day on the beach but had no choice... More

A beautiful beach, warm water, a bar and restaurant, sunbeds and umbrellas. Everything a caribbean beach should be. BUT when the cruise ship hoards arrive it becomes a crowded beach - the bar even has a separate entrance for them, greeted by a sign saying Welcome Cruise Ship Visitors! Fortunately we are staying nearby and we have use of a... More

We visited this beach when our cruise ship docked in Antigua. Had a lovely few hours on the beach. Be careful though, there is quite a sharp drop in the sand to get into the sea. The waves can be quite fierce, so much so that, despite not being the slimmest of people, I found myself with grazing to my... More

We rented a villa a 5 minute walk from here, so we visited regularly. Most of the time there were only one or two other couples around. There is a restaurant and bar but we tended to be at the other end of the beach and didn't use them. It was a great place to watch the sunset from and... More

For our style, this beach was too busy. If you want bar, restaurant, water sports and lots of people this place is for you. For us, we'd prefer a more secluded beach with less people. The water was nice, but not the best. It wasn't clear at all. Ft. James Beach was much better. Less crowded, cheaper to get too,... More

This beach was on my number one list of Antigua beaches to go to if you coming off a cruise ship.We find this beach to have all the amenities that you will need to spend the day in the sun.It will cost you $20.for two lounge chairs and an umbrella. It will take you 20 minutes by cab and $20.each way... Very nice beach in Antigua. Pretty, but there is a drop off. Warm water and nice sand. Able to get chairs and umbrellas and a bar right there.

One of the loveliest beaches in Antigua, white sand, emerald green sea and perfect bathing. Plus the beach shack restaurant is brilliant as well. Pam's wellness centre is a must; just $25 for a top to toe massage that guarantees you will be relaxed and totally chilled out, all this within the sound of the sea.

This is a beautiful beach with gentle waves. It is perfect to wade in. The water is so blue but not as crystal clear as others we have been too. The sand was great and soft. Wonderful to play in. There was a pretty sharp drop off as we walked in but then you are able to walk out quite... More
