We took the bus to this beach. The bus stop was not far from the cruise port and was across the street from a local food market. The bus driver was very nice and full of information. When we got to the beach, we got 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas for $40. The locals were friendly and there were plenty... More

An absolutely beautiful beach in Antigua. Very clean. Was extremely busy when we visited but then there were a couple of cruise ships in - ours included - so that was to be expected but considering Antigua has 365 beaches if you're after somewhere more peaceful I'm sure you will find one. The staff at the bars weren't as friendly... More

The beach is a short taxi ride from the docks. There are umbrellas and beach chairs to rent. The water is not crystal clear, but still very nice. We come here every time we are on the island. There are friendly locals available to rent you time on jet skis, towed inflatable devices, small sail boats, etc. We always have... More

One of the most amazing beaches I have ever been on, stunning white sand and warm coral torquiest water. Lovely small wooden bar at the far end. So remote and peaceful. Amazing day

Beautiful! Calm waters. Less crowds. Clear, blue water. I loved this beach, and would definitely visit again.

We visited Valley Church and purchased day passes at the entry to the beach area. They included 2 - 3 drinks, beach chairs & an umbrella. The beach is very clean. I expected to find shells & beach glass, but the beach seemed to have been cleaned. The sand is very fine & nice for a walk. Of course the... More

My husband and I visited Antigua on our honeymoon. We decided not to do an excursion like we did on so many of our cruise ports. We ended up taking a taxi to Valley Church Beach (on a recommendation from a friend). It cost $50 round trip, and the driver was nice enough to stick around and wait for us,... More

Beautiful, quiet beach with restaurants. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. Some locals were out in the water, but for the most part I was able to relax in the water. The water is clear blue, similar to Turks and Caicos, however the sand is not as fine as sand is in other islands. Still,... More
