This is the largest tower in Oporto and is on the highest hill. As we were staying close by it was a great point to aim for at the end of each day.

Try to get there early, or when the crowds are away. The climb is not so bad. the view is terrific. We were there when it was raining and it made the tower seem magical. Worth the 3 euro.

We went up this early in the morning and were rewarded with outstanding views of Porto that would be hard to get otherwise. The traffic going up and down is much lighter in the morning. We were fortunate to have a sunny day as well.

Located behind the Clérigos Church, it offers the visitor a wonderful view of Porto. 225 stairs - Go upstairs, it is worth it! You will have a 360° view of Porto.

Be aware when you purchase ticket -ask for specific directions. I was told ten minute wait, go to elevator past exhibit. I wondered, elevator? Followed group in front of me; waited with them for 20 minutes, when someone came by & said it was service elevator. We had passed some exhibitions to get to it. Had to retrace & walk... More

Clerigos Tower s a great way to see the city from a different angle. It will cost you only €3 to climb up the tower but be aware that the steps which you have to climb is quite narrow and high. If you are not claustrophobic it is really worth a climb.

Offers unrivaled views from the top of the tower and you can see for miles around the city. There's a small fee to pay but well worth it. Note that there are a lot of steps so it may not be suitable for all.

The church was nice and the information floors about the tower was quite good but the whole point is to climb the tower and admire Porto. If the weather is nice, you might be able to catch the sunset in March (the tower closes at 19:00). The view of Porto is fantastic from the top of the tower. Definitely a... More

A not to be missed tourist attraction in the City. costs3 Euro, you need to be fit enough to climb 197 steps to the 76 metre viewing platform which affords extensive views across the City to th Ocean. The Church and building are extensively renovated and very interesting. There is an exhibition on currently
