Another great view point.

Ok if you have a head for heights. Not too pricey. Easy to find. The church attached is fantastic and is free!!

Awesome view from the top of the bell tower. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. 3 euros per person is well worth it.

Narrow staircase will take you to the top. And by narrow I meant really NARROW! There is no separate ways for going up and coming down, so, beware of the all inconveniences of being jammed and get stock in there. But it's worth the effort - the view is very nice and if you like a photography you'll be happy... More

This is one of those things one has to do when visiting Porto. The tower is situated not far from the City center, thus is easy to walk to. The tower steps get pretty steep and narrow, but the long climb is well worth it with the great 360 degree views from the highest level. One can easily view the... More

Lines to the tower can be long but the views are spectacular. Duoro, cathedrals, red roofed homes as far as the eye can see.

Well worth a visit. It is beautiful. It is near to the University and some lovely cafes and restaurants.

Good stunning 360 views of the entire city after a 225 step climb. The climb was broken up into section by an exhibit that explained some of the history of the church, extremely interesting and in both Portuguese and English (for the most part). Well worth a visit and cheap too. Wasn't too bad passing people on the way up... More

We climbed the tower for the views of the river but you couldn't really see much of it. I didn't take any photos because I already had much better views from other look out points in the city. Like from the monastery on the other side of the pont luis and the gardens at palacio de cristal. The steps are... More

The torre has great panoramic views but is quite a climb (225 steps I think) and can get quite crowded as what I think are the counters to control numbers were out of order when we visited. The church is fascinating too

Started with the tower and climbed the easy 227 or so steps to the top. The views are spectacular. Absolutely stunning. But what early stunning is the church itself. Wow
