Everyone says getting to the top of the tower ensures you good views on the city. Well, I disagree. You get better views from mid-way up to the top than the top itself, where there's a high railing (so high I had to rise my camera over my head to be able to take pictures, and I'm not small!!). Honestly,... More

This tower is really worth the climb and the 2€ ticket... The corridors for the stairs are reeeeaaaaally narrow, but it gives a dose of speciality to the building :) And when you get on top of it - the highest building in Porto, you'll love the view!

Not a huge climb, with panoramic views from the top over the whole city and out to the Atlantic. Narrow steep steps. Good value for money.

The view on top of the tower is really nice of course, but the stairway is rather small and you're not able to pass each other. On top of the tower, the railing is rather thin.

Walk up the stairs to get a beautiful scenic view of Porto's city center and beyond. It was a 20 minute wait in line to go up the tower.

If you want to see the beauty of all porto you must climb to the top of "Torre dos Clérigos" is one of the main attractions of Porto and it is beautiful, i mean is one of the top views of the city! Although you climb too many steps it give you a 360º view of the city itself and... More

With such a cheap entrance fee (€3 I think) climbing this tower was an excellent decision on our part. The climb up is a bit tiring and of course you are stuffed into narrow hallways lined with steep steps, but hey, that's part of the experience! On the way up to the top you get a close up view of... This tower offers yet another fine view of the city with the many steps to the top worth quite a few points towards your daily exercise quota. Dodging fellow tourists on the narrow steps coming in the opposite direction is a challenge but it's all worth the effort and for only 2 euros.

For only €2 it is worth a climb to see the Porto rooftops. It isn't too difficult but it can get crowded near the top where the stairs becomes narrow.
