The church was nice and the information floors about the tower was quite good but the whole point is to climb the tower and admire Porto. If the weather is nice, you might be able to catch the sunset in March (the tower closes at 19:00). The view of Porto is fantastic from the top of the tower. Definitely a... More

A not to be missed tourist attraction in the City. costs3 Euro, you need to be fit enough to climb 197 steps to the 76 metre viewing platform which affords extensive views across the City to th Ocean. The Church and building are extensively renovated and very interesting. There is an exhibition on currently

The Clergios Tower is located in Porto, Portugal and is one of the main tourist attractions for a birds-eye view of the city. The Clergios Tower is located in the heart of Porto, Portugal and is connected to a nice church, which is a good place to explore too. Scaling the tower takes about 15 minutes and you can stay... The church itself is pretty ornate and the tower gives you the best 360 views of Porto so it is well worth staggering up the over 200 steps to see. They do show you what you are looking at when you get there so you can pinpoint the places you want to visit and their locations in advance. Good exercise!

Going up the tower on a nice and clear day is great. You get a 360 degree view of the city all the way to the ocean. The museum is not that impressive but the visit to the church is a nice bonus. Beware: If you are claustrophobic, consider not climbing the tower. It gets crowded and narrow going to... More

It's easy to find and the entrance fee is quite low (€ 3). The climb is allright although some steps are quite small so some consideration to fellow tourists is welcome. We had great weather so the view was very good in the sun with a nice breeze. A bit crowded though so sometimes a bit difficult to enoy the... More

This is a great way to see the city from a different angle, however be aware that there are quite a few steps to make it to the top and the passageways are quite narrow - a member of our group got rather claustrophobic and had to go back down. Also, as it is the same way up as down,... More

It dominates Porto landscape and deserves it entirely. Along with the Sé and City Hall building, at Aliados avenue, Torre dos Clérigos is one of the 3 greats in this so fantastic city.
