You need to climb the streets of Vila Nova de Gaia to reach this property and it may be tiring on a hot, summer day. When inside you can book a tour in a language of your choice. For 5 euros you get 3 glasses of port wine for tasting (one as a welcome drink and 2 glasses of other... More

Spent a few days in Porto after watching arsenal play in the champions league, so thought we would explore the distillery side of the river. After a short tour we were able to try a number of types, all of which were very nice and in plentiful quantity!

We arrived earlier to the wine tasting program, we've been offered already wine to taste until we are wainting for the english guide. The tour was interesting, and for 5 euros/ person i would go back anytime. The guide was professional and friendly.

The tour was short but sweet. It should be added that you should arrive 30 minutes before the tour begins to ensure that you have a place. It was a bit disappointing to have to wait an hour for the next tour when we arrived 10 minutes ahead of time (having been told reservations were not necessary). Altogether, a nice... More

We were looking forward to visit and taste this one above all other one as we are fans already but as soon as we got there, kind of got a feeling there are getting too much business from tourist and don't care so much anymore......we did the tour with our English guide and he was great ! Enjoyed our port... More

It was pleasant & friendly. Worth every bit of 5e. The tour guide was friendly and kept it light & informative. Worth trying the Vintage port tasting. Although you get 3 different varieties with the tour. It was fabulous. A bit difficult to find off the beaten track.

We arrived for the 5pm tour (the last tour of the day), neither we or our hotel were advised it was a French speaking only tour. I would have respected this but there were about 20 English speaking people waiting for the tour and not one French speaking person, that being obvious to the rest of us. I am grateful... More

One of the must to do in porto! We got there by taxi. Taylor's is located on the hill in Villa Nova de Gaia and we were too tired to walk up the hill. 5 euro covers a 20-30 min tour and a tasting of three port wines (white, lbv, tawny). They have an estate garden and terrace with nice... More

Fantastic value for money. Very informative tour with free tastings at the end.... Cost for adults 5 euros each with kids going free. There's a shop for purchases which were ok but then I did find at Faro airport that port was same price for a litre bottle... Gardens are lovely , there's a peacock hovering around with her babies.... More
