Owner description: Portofreetour guides are not professional tour guides but enthusiastic, friendly individuals with knowledge of Porto who will accompany you on a visit of the city, take advantage of their passion and discover hidden, unusual places off the tourist trail.Together we designed a few "caminhos" through our city, giving you a glimpse of what Invicta's all about. Zigzagging between past, present and potential futures, we try to give an insight into our hometown that will enable you to understand and enjoy it evermore. Our visits are simple and friendly : we try to limit our tours to 6 people maximum, so you can get to sightsee without the crowd, we also like to have a small break (Porto's hilly), to chill out and chat, no rush we're in Portugal. Average tour duration : 2h or 3hTime : 10/11am or 2/3pm PLEASE BOOK TILL 10PM OF THE DAY BEFORE THE TOUR

We really enjoyed this 3-hours tour with André. He showed us places of Porto that we would have never visited and explained to us so many things about the city, its history, life in Portugal... After the tour, André sent us lots of tips by email. We recommend this tour for anyone who wants to discover the "real" Porto !

André showed us the real history of Porto, not the touristic places everybody can visit on his own, but Porto where real life takes place ! He was well prepared and answered all questions on a way that proved his knowledge.

Andre met our group at the appointed time and place and we embarked on a tour that spanned Porto's history, culture, politics, food, art, and gardens. Andre was engaging and personable and eager to answer our questions. We explored areas generally not covered on conventional tours and he offered many suggestions to experience fado and types of restaurants and cafes... More

I took this walking tour last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. You book by email ( portofreetour@gmail.com ) before 2200hrs and they will respond, confirming the start time and meeting point. The tour is free but you are expected to make a decent tip to the guide at the end. Limiting the group size to just six makes for good... More

I had a brilliant tour with Andre. He showed me round the Porto in a really cool and informative way, taking in the history, culture and then the more modern aspects of the city. I definitely would not have had the same experience if I had gone on a paid tour. Andre really knows his stuff, obviously loves his city... More

We had a wonderful tour guided by André. During these 3 hours he showed us the places which we could never see and discover by ourselves. The walk though the romantic gardens was really unforgettable. The impression that we had before on Porto has changed and become even more positive thanks to our guide. At the end of the tour... Ricardo really did a great job showing us around in the lovely town of porto. He brought a very personal view to us, as we expect it from such a tour. We spent 3 nice hours walking, talking, exchanging and drinking coffee! THX for that!

Excellent walking tour with Ricardo. It lasted around three hours and he was able to keep our attention for so long telling us beats of general history and lots of popular stories, which only someone loving and living in the city would know. He took us to hidden green areas away from noise to appreciate another side of the city.... More

In the stress-free delicious city of Porto, I had the pleasure of following this free tour, specifically its architectural section, run (in Italian) by Ricardo C. Ricardo made us say goodbye to the city (it was unfortunately our last day), by revealing us the architectural marvels and urban art in Porto, from the recent Casa da Música (by Rem Koolhaas)...
