Our hotel recommended us this yellow bus tours to see Porto. It turn out to be really great way to see Porto. The double deck bus took us by all main attractions of Porto and surroundings... When the guide was not speaking there was a nice music coming from our headsets... There are 2 routes available we did both... one... More

All the companies offer similar tours, blue buses seem to be one route, red buses and yellow buses do two routes, yellow tours seem to cover a larger area. We opted for the 2 day ticket with river cruise and port cellar tour. Booked online so had a discount. Good value, the port cellar tour (Calem) was excellent and the... More

We did two Porto tours, but were surprised to learn that buses are coming at very irregular cycles. The routes are fine, though a bit long at the harbor side. The biggest shock came when our bus did not make a stop at our chosen stop, on top of that the same happened to another group of travelers at another... More

Decided to do the round trip tour to get a feel of the whole of Porto. Wow! I hadn't expected to be taken along the beautiful Atlantic beaches, seeing waves crashing onto golden sands. The tour helped me to decide what I wanted to go back to and explore more thoroughly - it was really worth doing.

This was our second hop-on, hop-off bus tour in week, having also purchased one in Madrid during our visit there. We find that these type tours are the fastest way to get to know the basics of a city you're visiting for the first time, and typically the bus tours are done well. After a dismal bus tour experience in... More

You either love it or you hate it but we find it a very efficient way of getting an overview of need sees! For instance on the purple tour we visited a part of Porto we never would have discovered on our own. I refer to the Matosinhos area. Really recommendable from our perspective.

on the positive : VFM good it includes a river tour, and access to a cellar tour, plus access to public transport buses, and the ticket is applicable over two days. BUT the bus route is confused, repetitive, makes lengthy unannounced stops and many of the headsets did not work. caveat emptor.

My husband and I have been to Oporto hundreds of times, but this time we came with our 3 children… As tourists! So, as any regular tourists, we decided to take a sightseeing tour! We had the most pleasant time and Yellowbus was surely the best choice: the itinerary was great, the audio explanations were very useful and interesting, the... More

We did this tour as part of a bus and boat tour. Great way to see the city and good value if you do the river trip as well.

If you are staying for 2 days in Porto its better to get the full bus package that allows you both of the tours of the yellow bus hop and hop off bus for 48 hrs for a bargain at 15 € a head. You will see all you need to see in Porto and probably a few things that... More
