Cathedral is beautiful both outside and especially inside. It worth to go full tour with personal guide, 5 € per person (kids are free), which includes entrance to Cathedral, visiting 3 Chapels with tombs of archbishop, and museum It is interesting and quick (around 1 hrs.)

We loved the Cathedral Quarter with its' ancient streets and atmospheric bars. The Se itself has certain fine attractions, particularly the fabulous baroque organs and the side chapels.Overall, worth the visit. Visiting The Treasury, one of the finest in all Portugal, will cost you a couple of euro

Braga is worth a visit if coming from Portugal to Santiago de Compostela or have time tooling around western Spain. The cathedral is the center of the town and at the beginning of a very pleasant pedestrian zone. But it's mostly a new construction built on the old cathedral site. The cloister is totally modern, built to incorporate several side... More

Rather than go on a guided tour costing euros 80-160, we decided to make our own way to Braga and Guimaraes. Train from Sa Beneto to Braga cost euro 3.10 each (you have to buy, in addition, a rail card costing 50 cents but this card can be topped up for all other public transport). The bus from Braga to... Amazing cathedral with so much history in such a "small" place. Particular the organ and the paintings.

Reserve some hours to really enjoy this amazing cathedral. Make a tour by the crypts of the olds, then with only 2,00eur. You can go by the cathedral. It's an amazing place, with a thousand of details full of history I regret to had so little time there.

Excellent place to visit . We were lucky to be on a Sunday and everything was open to visit. we were at the end of a mass and is very moving to see the worship of the people attending the service. The architecture, the altars, and everything in the cathedral besides its historic value is amazing

Extraordinary church. One of the most beautiful I ever seen. It also has the most extraordinary pipe organ I have ever seen, probably the most beautiful of all.

Nice Sé to visit, even the outside is very impressive; The sé is one of the buildings of Braga, it"s really in the centre, you can't miss it.
