My husband and I were fortunate enough to tour Braga and Guimaraes with both Joao and Isabel. They both are from Braga, so we really got an insider's perspective of the area and learned a lot, while not being overwhelmed. We had a great time getting to know Joao and Isabel - they were so nice, fun to be around... More

My guide in Braga was Isabel, a really nice local girl with great knowledge about the city, who was willing to guide me through the city even if I was alone, it was raining, and I booked the tour last minute, for which I'm really thankful! I enjoyed listening to her stories and explanations, and was a bit disappointed, when... More

In spite of the late request Isabel managed to meet me and my friend for a walking tour in Braga. We were on a day trip from Porto and did not expect much, but we got a lot of insider information, good jokes and we saw places we would miss without Isabel's guidance. A great guide and charming smile.

Our tour guide Isabel Leitão took us to peculiar (meant here as special) places in Braga, explained us many other details about how life is there, that is, economical, political and social aspects of living in Portugal nowadays. Besides she adapted the content to my parents' interests and they were very pleased with her courtesy and deep knowledge about many... More

During a very short stay in Braga I was lucky to go on a three hour walking tour of the old city with two great guides Joao a young architect and Isabel a young archeologist. The tour was relaxed, informative and fun, and allowed me to see areas of the old town that I would not have discovered on my... More

Thank you for your comment. The afternoon we spent showing you our home town is part of what we consider to be the way to do it. We are very pleased that you liked it, and hope that one day you could return to Braga and get to know a little bit more about Braga and Minho. Thank you More

We had a tour with Isabel, who was informative, interesting and amusing. She pointed out things that we would not have found in a guide book, such as the house between streets with a door onto each, that charged a toll for people wanting to use the shortcut ! She was very knowledgable about the history of Braga, and especially... More

I had the opportunity during my holiday in Braga to be accompanied by a guide (isabel Leitao) experienced and well prepared on the development of the city over the centuries. A very good experience that I wish I had when I accompany students in European cities (i'm a teacher) and guides are not prepared. Last but not least is that... More

Its an incredible free tour. I was with a very very simpathetic guide. She was with a folder with some adiitonal information. It was a tour made for an archaeologist and the view of art heritage is diferent and more special and professional. It was short but really funny.

Advertised as a free tour at our hotel, this was definitely worth the hour to get a sense of Historical Braga within the centre of the city. A good jump start to the city, allowing you to consider where to spend more of your time if this is your constraint. We were accompanied by a guide with a Master's Degree... More
