I took the free tour in Braga with João and it was very enlightning to know so much about the origins of the city. João knows a lot of history and arquitecture and the way he tells us the story of the city it's as we were part of Braga too :)

I do not usually go on tours, I set this tour up by chance after a long conference at the University of Braga during which I had not had a chance to see anything of the city. I overhear Isabel talking to a woman at my hotel who was negotiating a day trip. Impressed, I asked her to lead myself... More

We did the half day walking tour of braga with João and found it brilliant. He was very knowledgeable and also funny and engaging! We really felt that we learnt things that you wouldn't pick up in a guide book and that the local knowledge we were getting was unusual and interesting! Can't recommend enough! Great value for money and... More

I did two tours, both guided by João Marques. The first was a walking tour of Braga - very good value for money, since it included over two hours of solid facts and humorous anecdotes, plus coffee and a pastry at an iconic coffeeshop and moscatel and a banana (!) at another local favorite. Although it was last-minute, he suggested... More

How lucky we were to be connected with Joao for our 2 full day tours of Northern Portugal including Porto and the Douro Valley, which is a must see and we live near the Napa Valley in California! He shared his knowledge, humor, personal interests in his homeland and brought us all the way to Vigo Spain to our friend's... More

We wanted the walking tour of the tourist’s affairs in order to discover a little bit more about Braga history, culture, traditions and Inhabitants daily habits. I´m Really glad that we choose these guys, our guide Isabel shared with us her great passion and... More

Joao was my guide to Ponte de Lima and Viana do Costelo. Even though I am a single traveler, the company made accommodations for me. Joao clearly loves Braga and the surrounding Minho area, which gave the tour a great vibe. He is also very knowledgeable about the history, architecture and culture of the area. The tour was very educational... More
