This has been the focal point of Braga for many years and it's where the Tourist Information office is located. There are arcades housing a couple of venerable coffee houses, fountains and lots of Christmas decorations in season........

This is the main praca of Braga. It's the starting point to discover Braga.Mostly it's quiet or there is some vibration. You have a nice vieuw over the place if you're standing on the arcades.

This is another tourist attraction that I visited with my wife it adds wow factor to the various attractions dotted around the town centre. There were so many beautiful sites to see and coupled with blistering heat all these made my visit here all the more memorable and enjoyable

Not much to do expect for the fountains and some cafes. However, it is the start of a tour around the old city in a train om wheels. It costed us two euro p.p. and was a nice way of getting to know the area, especially in rain. Expect only portugese explanations

Great fountain and open space. Nice for wandering. We came here before dinner time and it was a bit chilly.

Nice open square that seems to conjoin the center of Braga. Nice to hang out and relax at one of the cafes or restaurants.

We stopped off in Braga without knowing too much about it only it had some cathedrals and churches! Parking underground was good. It was much bigger than we anticipated, but it was very lively with numerous shops, cafes and restaurants, interspersed with some beautiful buildings, fountains, and of course the churches.... The Square was lovely with great fountain and view... More
