There are two ways of going to Porto Santo. The ferry crossing incl. transfers from/to hotels is a fab idea. On their website they have several offers to choose from- incl. sightseeing tour, spa treatment, golfing and why not stay for the night. Better look for good offers. During my trips to Porto Santo and back to Funchal, I have had smooth journeys. The ferry has a restaurant and bar, newspaper kiosk and even souvenier shop. Cinema and so on are available. First class ticket available too, however, I haven't tried it myself, nor I will travel that way, as it isn't worth it for such a short... More

Breakfast was included, and it was just okay, but the people who set it up really work hard to do it right. On the way back, they serve... More

We went during May, and it definitely was not beach season per se, however it was still nice to see the island. Porto Santo feels... More
