My wife was told about the Yellow Bus before we set off on our holiday to Madeira so we thought we would give it a try. Our opinion, well worth it. You can purchase a ticket for a 24hr or 48hr hop on/off ticket. If I were you I'd go for the 48hr as we did. Its a great way... More

Have used the hop on hop off buses for several years and was delighted to find they were now running a service to the stunning Cabo Girao viewpoint. Unfortunately they haven't quite got the timetables right. Had to wait 40 mins in Camar de Lobos for the mini bus to Cabo Girao and a further hour and 10 minutes for... More

Despite having visited Madeira 14 times we still like this hop on hop off trip. Each time, we seem to see something different which is great. It also offers first time visitors an easy way to have a quick overview of the area.

Brilliant 48 hour pass for all tours including minibus to Cab Girao. English commentary very good and frequency and flexibility also excellent. Highly recommended

A very easy way to see around Funchal. The audio commentary is interesting. We used the blue line which was a great way to visit Camara de Lobos and Cabo Girao. Good value for money using the hop on hop off facility which enabled a quick lunch in Camara de Lobos before returning back to Funchal.

We used the yellow/blue bus 48 hr ticket for 15 euros to get around Funchal and to get to the Cabo the Girao. The audio tour was not that interesting, but it is a great alternative to public transport. You can get to the main highlights of Funchal, so it is an convenient way to get around town. Take into... Decided to buy a 24 hour family ticket as thought it would be a good way to see a few of the attractions in Funchal by hoping on and off the tour bus. We seemed to spend the majority of our time either waiting for the bus to arrive (40 minutes) or whilst on the bus waiting at other bus... More

We booked the yellow/blue bus option the day after arriving in Funchal. €15 for a ticket lasting 48 hours is fantastic value - similar tours in other cities cost significantly more. We did the yellow route the first full day we were there, to allow us to get our bearings. This takes you round Funchal town. The next day we... More

A great way to get your bearings and see most of the main sights in Funchal. You get a better idea of how hilly the place really is.
