Yellow bus was good way of getting around, you could hop on and off . The tickets were good value if you used for two whole days. The driver gave you ear phones to plug in for information on Funchai, did get fed up with music playing in between

Fair price & good that you can hop on & off with your own ear phones, but needs more info to help you decide whether to hop on or off & what else is in the vicinity. Overall it has potential to be excellent tour but currently only average

This is a very good and inexpensive way to see Funchal and surrounding areas. It also lets you see just how hilly the place is and that the properties all look as if they are built upon top of each other, but a good tour all the same. .

The yellow bus tours of Funchal give you the opportunity to hop on and off wherever you like. Take the blue line bus which goes around Funchal then detours to Camara de Lobos, a small fishing village. There is a new add on to this tour by mini bus which takes you to Gabo Girao one of the highest sea... More

15 Euro's per person for 2 days. Hop on and off whenever and wherever cant be too bad. We went for the 3-in1 tour. You get some ear phones which you can plug in and listen to the historical bits of the island, describing the various artists/sculptors etc should you wish to do so. The map you get shows all... Glad we decided to do this, great way to see some of the island & gives you an idea of what to stop at and visit for longer. 48hr ticket well worth it. Lovely views and lovely breeze. Goes quite high up amazing views, also takes you to camera de Lobos fishing village not to be missed.

Commentary via the headphones was helpful and price was okay but I felt it stopped too often and always in places where you couldn't get a good photo opportunity whilst bypass swiftly things I would have liked to take pictures of.

With so many hills this is by far the easiest and best way to see Funchal. I purchased a two day ticket which allowed me free travel hop on or off. You can choose what day you use your second day, it doesn't have to follow the first day. Two routes are available the blue route takes you to the... More

We bought the 48 hour hop on hop off ticket including the return cable car for 28 euros. Really good value as the cable car is 15 euros if bought at the station. We used the bus to go into Funchal, also North through the villages and the blue line to Camara De Lobos which was well worth a visit
