Very interesting tour on a big bus, visited the caves ( lava tubes) and after the tour, there were a number of interesting presentations relating to the geological history of the islands. Highly recommended trip.

As told buses travell every 20 mins ,bus driver says it's every 30 On 3 occasions in two days we waited over 40 mins for bus In that time the cheaper re buses went past 3 time. They run every 20 mins The commentary is a joke ,they don't fit with tour Try the red buses we wish we had... More

Reasonably priced tickets allow you to travel over two days. Interesting routes allowing you to see a good section of the island.

Still good value, 12 euros per person for a 2 day pass, hop on and off the bus at any stop you like. You can use either the yellow or blue bus, geat way to see Funchal, still provide you with ear plugs for the comentary of the tour. If you go up stairs recommend you take a jacket or... More

We bought a 2 day pass for 12 Euros. On day 1 we caught the Blue Line bus to Camara de Lobos. This is a nice little port with reasonably priced tourist shops (in fact we went back a couple of days later as they had the best value cork shoes and linen). The commentary wasn't very good and there... More

Loved this service. The drivers were friendly and helpful. Good service for getting in and around town and even to the next town. Excellent value for money and would recommend this to others. Loads of stops in good locations.

Take a jacket with you, it's chilly at the deck! And make sure you bring an extra battery for your camera.

A hop on hop off bus, some are open top double deckers. Seems good value for money compared to other buses and lasts two days, however, they do not seem to run on bank holidays so be aware of this when being sold two day tickets.

For 12 euros and valid 48hrs it was worth the purchase. Open top bus so good views of city. I would not waste the time going blue bus as it comes infrequently and waits for 20mins at so many stops so a slow trip! Yellow buses very frequent in the mornings and many local stops for hopping on and off... More

The yellow bus tour, although offering 2 separate routes covers less of the funchal area than the red bus tour. It spends much of its time in the hotel district which has little of interest. Compare this with the red bus trip up to the lookout point well above the city. Definitely poor value for money certainly compared to the... More
