This is a great, free attraction which is very impressive, though some people didn't seem to grasp the scale of the drop. I found it very picturesque and definitely must be seen. Of course you can expect many people there, the glass overhanging platform is small after all, but if you remain patient you can really appreciate the landscape and... More

Lovely high sea cliff and the info said there was a glass platform "like the Grand Canyon" but it was a very small area which was partially taped off as some of the glass was cracked and it is obscure glass so there is no view downwards through it. Views were stunning of the cliffs but the hype didn't live... More

Worth the trip out, free access to viewing platform. Great photo opportunity. We did this as part of a taxi tour to the north of the island, taking in Cabo De Garo this way will also allow you to drop down (not literally) to the cable car which is 5 Euros to the beach below.

If you want to be thrilled go here. It's a cliff, 580 m above sea level, the highest sea cliff in Europe, and the view is magnificent. Go there!

Cliff top overhanging glass viewing platform opened [I think] in 2013. Not for the faint hearted but super views of the coast, cliffs and to Funchal. Quite remote and up steep hills. You need a car or go on an excursion. But worth it.

Ok if you are scared of heights maybe a not to clever look over, but try it as the views are stunning. Walking around the glass platforms is a must, especially the sheet of glass that is cracked and highlighted by yellow tape...so they do crack i hear you say...yep. Whilst there make sure you explore the mountains well worth... More

Well worth a visit for the great views. Madeira, and Funchal in particular, is a great place for a holiday, friendly people, good weather, good food and wine.

We first saw this from the ocean while on a tour of the South coast of the island and also visited it while on an island coach tour. If you have the head for heights, do go right out onto viewing platform - it has a clear floor and you can sea right down to the ocean from beneath you... More

If you are on the west island tour, it is nice to stop at this attraction to check it out and tell your friends you have been there. The clear glass platform is an attraction.
