The natural views from this site and nearby are worth while visiting here. It is recommended to use the path south to cross and walk down even part of the way. The wild nature of sea and rocks is stunning. You can look at the sea shore rocks towards North as well.

View the vast expanse of the Atlantic from cliffside. Beautiful rocky shoreline below. Bus long from Sintra took longer than we expected, but a worthwhile visit. There is a substantial building that houses the visitor center. The three adults "working" there were aloof and spoke among themselves as I waited to ask a question. When I asked if there was... We went there by the hop on hop off from Sintra and visited the most west place of the continent. If you want you can stay here for about a hour and take the next bus to one of the castels. The ride between Sintra and Cabo da Roca, is nice. Great view over the Ocean.

...you want to visit the most westerly point of Europe if its close by! There isn't a great deal to see, an oblisk detailing the importance of where you are, a restaurant and, if you're really lucky, a young, drunk tramp begging for money whilst holding up the edifice! (or is it the other way round?) It is how you... More

The edge of occidental Europe and what a sight. Access is OK I guess, plenty of parking space so that wont be a problem. Two major warnings: it's very and I mean very windy and whatever you do don't cross the fences to take a picture or selfie right next to the cliffs. People died here already and a couple... More

Very scenic and windy. Love the wide expanse of the ocean. Good to spend some quiet moment here. There is a lighthouse nearby. Watch your step while walking as the ground is not level.

You get a great view of the sun setting (after all its the westernmost point, to the west of this, is just ocean all the way to America. It was remarkably windy when was there (around sunset), though, so be careful when walking beyond the boundaries that are set up (yea you know you're gonna). People have fallen off the... More

This is a beautiful monument to the western most point of Europe. The views are spectacular with steep drop offs. Unlike most of the coastline in the region, they have erected wooden railing to protect people from the dangerous cliffs - heed the railings as a couple plunged to their death while taking a selfie only days after we visited... This is a wonderfull feeling to be standing on the edge of the world. Sadly, busses of asian and other tourists are being dropped of, making it crowded. A lot of stupid people also climb over the fence, risking to fall to death, which will happen shortly.
