The place is wonderful and after visiting sintra region and caba da roca I found one can make it in same day. Catch early morning train to cascais from Lisbon and better to take combined ticket for train as well as bus including return, from Lisbon metro station (Rozio) and reach cascais in the early morning. The bus frequency is... More

This is a beautiful place, with water as far as the eye can see. Not the easiest location to reach with public transport and a bit crowded with tourbusses.

The place and the way to reach it are very beautiful. t stays about 15 Km away from the Castelo da Pena, but it worths a go for. This is the most westerly point of Europe. A tourist spot outdoors, without any euro charges. Maybe for some guys, to go on a sunny day. We alawys prefer windy and rainy... More

Make sure the weather is good to enjoy great views. In November the place is not crowded. There are two souvenir shops and a restaurant on the spot, but if you are not hungry, you may look for another place to eat, as this one is expensive. Enjoy!

It is always interesting to visit the most distante part of continent. Great views! We had really great time. Yes, there can be some wind so count on it. Getting there is also great part of visiting Cabo da Roca. There is a parking for cars, souvenir shop, lighthouse... But take some walking there

Visited in August 2012 but forgot to write a review then. I loved the view. I went with my teenage daughter. I wanted to take her picture at the monument (western most point of Europe) but wasn't able to. There was a group of rude tourists taking picture after picture of themselves and not moving for anyone else. The crowds... More

We enjoyed our visit here. Many people have commented on how windy it was and I suspect it is always windy here so dress appropriately. The setting is beautiful and you can bring a picnic lunch if you would like to stay and enjoy the view.

It's definitely an interesting place to visit as Europe's westernmost point. That's an interesting curiosity and because of that, we indulged ourselves and went there. The views are pretty, unfortunately the weather was very windy when we were there. Some of the monuments are interesting, but apart from those it's just a touristy place where herds of tourists arrive by... More

The view is just stunning, make sure you have at least couple hours to walk around. If you travel without car, take 403 bus from Sintra, the last one leaves at 18.10 from the train station (40-45 minutes journey).

The view from here is super fantastic! If you are lucky when you here it's sunny, you can see clearly the different blue from the ocean side to the sky! It's the best site in Portugal in my view. though no entertaiment here, just a few visitors, only the ocean, the sky.BUT, it's worth to be here, spend around 1 hour... More
