In my opinion a standard beautiful view. Take a bike to make it special!

Yes, amazing ocean view, cliffs and so on. You need half an hour tops to get bored and return to the bus/car. But if you rent (for free) the simplest on earth bike in Cascais and... read more

Yes, amazing ocean view, cliffs and so on. You need half an hour tops to get bored and return to the bus/car. But if you rent (for free) the simplest on earth bike in Cascais and take your time, energy and strong will to get there and back you will spend an active and amazing day! The bike is the... More

We had used the circuit bus to see the palaces in Sintra. Got back to the bus station to wait for bus #403 out to Cabo da Roca. About a half hour ride through pretty countryside. Got off the bus and enjoyed walking along the coast for views and pictures at the Western point marker. Waited for the bus and... More

We took a right off the highway on the way to the lighthouse/the tourist area and drove for a while on an unpaved road. We found ourselves at the top of a steep hill with a tiny rocky footpath. It's about an hour hike all the way down (and I suspect double that on the way back up), but there's... More

It is truly overwhelming how small and insignificant one feels when looking at the ocean beating against the rocks. I like this place because it think looking at the ocean here is both soothing and mesmerising. I like it also because this was the place where i took one of my very first photos ever, while visiting on a school... More

The view was great. If you are in the area, stop by but don't travel here specifically. We happened to catch a day that wasnt windy but we heard that it can get quite cold even in summer so bring a jacket and stay off the steepest paths (no hand rail)!

Not my cup of tea. Too many tourists trying to take the most dangerous pictures of themselves at the edge of the rock. Allthough the view is breathtaking, we prefer the one you can see after a nice long walk.

He had a nice day, sunny and not so windy. I only can imagine how is during winter or when weather is bad... But we were lucky. Nice place to go, nice view and at the end you have the possibility to get your certificate ascertaining that "You have been to Cape Roca, Sintra - Portugal, the westmost point in... More

I caught the local bus from Cascais to Sintra, catch the 403 either on the way or one the way home...its the scenic route, it takes a little longer but well worth the extra time. I took the 417 on the way home, there was nothing much to see, but good to get back to Cascais to spend extra time... More

Once of the best spots in Portugal to get fanaticism views of the Atlantic. Well worth a trip during the day. This is the most wrested point in Europe.

We loved the trip there from Lisbon. We loved the nature and also the trip to the ocean from Cabo da Roca. It is a hard hike down especially with children but it's worth it.
