Definitely one of my favourite visits. Sintra is an amazing place - we were there for three days and we still didn't see everything. Moors' Castle was amazing and I will never forget it. The walk through bush was lovely and the views amazing. I thought it was far more beautiful than any other castles we have seen in Europe... more

Sintra was one of the highlights of my visit to Portugal, and the Castelo dos Mouros was the best part of Sintra. Normally I try to avoid places that are really touristy, but there are certain places that are worth it, and Sintra is one of them.
