This three hour boat trip was wonderful. We got a fantastic view of all the dolphins. The staff were extremely friendly, kind to the children and very knowledgeable of the surroundings.

breaching the clear waters of the Sado estuary - can't beat it really. Note: do take binoculars as this is responsible tourism and though you are fairly close you will still miss some of the wonderful details. They give a comprehensive explanation about this bottlenose dolphin community and children and adults alike can try to spot by the dorsal fin... More

Me and my partner went for the dolphin trip with them. The trip ended earlier (still almost 3 hours). The guide are experience and watching the dolphin swimming besides is a great experience. My partner wanted to go for a second time! These dolphins in Setubal do not migrate, so the chances of seeing dolphins are high. Bring a jacket... More

We went on this trip in July but I didn't get around to writing a review. But just reading through another review It prompted me to write. I would highly recommend this trip the crew are fantastic as I said we went in July the weather was cloudy and and cold. The crew even gave us blankets to keep warm,... More

On their site they say "3 hour trip".. after more then 2h we still hadn't seen the dolphins. The boat seemed to go back to the port, and I was already disapointed as it looked like we were the 1% who did not had the luck to see the dolphins, trying to cheer myself up by saying that "at least... Vertigem are the top dolphin watching experience in the area - crew are friendly (not pushy) and relaxed, and professional enough to know where to take you so you do find the estuarine bottle-nosed dolphins - on our trip they found the whole pod together, youngsters and all. The boat was sailed carefully so as not to disturb the pod... More

This was such a great trip and really good value; cheaper than similar trips from Troia. You go out on a stunning catamaran and i recommend sitting on the nets at the front, you feel like you are floating over the waves. The guide Luis was informative and spoke great English. We saw loads of big dolphins, you feel so... More

I spend 14 days in Setubal and this was the very best thing we did. Actually we went twice with them. ones to watch dolphines and it was a fantastic trip. However the second trip was even better. it was a wine tasting cruise. The wine was fantstic, the dolphines fun and the athmosphere illuminating. If you are a couple... More

We enjoyed a fantastic afternoon out on the River Sado, watching the dolphins and seeing the lovely views of the Arrábida and Setubal. The crew were really friendly and took time to come around and talk to each group about the dolphins, switching easily from Portuguese to English to French. This trip was well worth it and a really enjoyable... More

We decided to take a Vertigem Azul cruise with my husband and 7 year old daughter and 2 year old son. All I can say is that it is one of those days you know you will never forget. We left with the dread that maybe we would be part of the unlucky 5% who don't get to see the... More
