We and our 2 kids had a wonderful 3 hours on the beautiful catamaran! We saw a lot of dolphins. It was magic and not very expensive!

We went out one morning on the half day dolphin watch, in search of the resident wild bottlenose dolphin group. Aboard a beautiful spacious catamaran with passionate and knowledgable hosts and guides. We spent approx 30 mins observing the pod of 27 dolphins whilst they leapt, played and even fished. A real treat and great value for €30. A must... More

I've made both the dolphins tour and wine sunset party...and I found it really dazzling experience. You get to see the dolphins really close and with near 100% chance to see them in all tours...just awesome, to get close to just a beautiful animal!! The wine party has this stunning views from the nearby coast line..and a lovely taste of... More

I checked the website right before I left the hotel and it said that there were two trips per day from Setubal, one at 9:30 am and another at 2:30 pm. I arrived with my friend at the company's office at 1:10 pm to find it closed. I called two times with no reply. We decided to walk by the... More

This three hour boat trip was wonderful. We got a fantastic view of all the dolphins. The staff were extremely friendly, kind to the children and very knowledgeable of the surroundings.

breaching the clear waters of the Sado estuary - can't beat it really. Note: do take binoculars as this is responsible tourism and though you are fairly close you will still miss some of the wonderful details. They give a comprehensive explanation about this bottlenose dolphin community and children and adults alike can try to spot by the dorsal fin... More

Me and my partner went for the dolphin trip with them. The trip ended earlier (still almost 3 hours). The guide are experience and watching the dolphin swimming besides is a great experience. My partner wanted to go for a second time! These dolphins in Setubal do not migrate, so the chances of seeing dolphins are high. Bring a jacket... More

On their site they say "3 hour trip".. after more then 2h we still hadn't seen the dolphins. The boat seemed to go back to the port, and I was already disapointed as it looked like we were the 1% who did not had the luck to see the dolphins, trying to cheer myself up by saying that "at least... Vertigem are the top dolphin watching experience in the area - crew are friendly (not pushy) and relaxed, and professional enough to know where to take you so you do find the estuarine bottle-nosed dolphins - on our trip they found the whole pod together, youngsters and all. The boat was sailed carefully so as not to disturb the pod... More
