The Queluz Palace is a pearl, as someone else said, little Versailles. There are wonderful gardens, picturesque architecture and unbelievable atmpsphere! Wonderful! More

We loved spending hours walking through the many rooms of this palace and imagining the various generations of Portugese royalty inhabiting it. Each room has its own character and the furniture of the period is wonderful to behold. A guidebook and perhaps even better, a guide will help bring what you are seeing to life. We also loved walking around... More

This palace also called the Versailles of Portugal deserves more visitors ! The buildings but also the garden and horse stables are very interesting. To get from Lisboa to Queluz take the train in the Rossio station direction Sintra and get of in Queluz-Belas, after a 15 minustes walk you arrive at the palace. More

Loved this, especially as my mad English friend who has lived here all her life informed the guides of all the historical facts that they didn't know. (They must have loved that!!) Well worth a visit. More

We didn't even know about this palace, but the driver of the private Sintra tour we set up thru the Aviz Hotel took us here first. WOW!!!! This was our favorite stop of the tour. It is breathtakingly beautiful and detailed. The tiled sides of the private canal in the gardens is another WOW! Don't miss this stop!!! More

It was the first time out of the country for our friend and she wanted to come with us on our return trip to Portugal because of all... More
