Don't miss this beautiful Summer Palace of the Portugese royals. Take the Sintra train , from Rossio station to Queluz and taxi from there to the palace. Well worth a visit. A cultural experience. Delightful gardens.

The Queluz Palace is a pearl, as someone else said, little Versailles. There are wonderful gardens, picturesque architecture and unbelievable atmpsphere! Wonderful!

We loved spending hours walking through the many rooms of this palace and imagining the various generations of Portugese royalty inhabiting it. This palace also called the Versailles of Portugal deserves more visitors ! The buildings but also the garden and horse stables are very interesting.
To get from Lisboa to Queluz take the train in the Rossio station direction Sintra and get of in Queluz-Belas, after a 15 minustes walk you arrive at the palace.
