Nice museum with lots of locals

If you want to be among locals this is a good place. For a first timer in a Contemporary Art Museum, i really liked the way they laid out their exposition. It is free admission.

If you enjoy contemporary art, you must visit this museum. It is free and open 7 days per week. Make sure you go to the lower floor where the temporary exhibitions are.

I pop into art museums around the world, but particularly the UK. I *normally* focus (and the UK it appears) mostly on the brilliant established art "greats" and movements, from a period earlier in history. What made this museum outstanding was it filled me in with a sense of placement of the *modern* art movements, In a clear, concise way.... More

This museum wasn't a top prioritu when we visited on vacation, but it ended up being a top notch event. I loved it! I'd recommend spending a good amount of time there not to feel rushed. Enjoy!

Berardo is one of the biggest collectors of Modern Art in the world. His collection his huge and exhibit in a foundation he has. The issue is that his works rotate and not always what is exposed is exactly the best of his collection. Still, if you enjoy modern art it is definately a place to go.

I studied art in college but I was not wowed by this collection. I am not crazy about modern and contemporary art but some of my favorite artists are in this genre. The way the works are displayed is not the best so you don't really get the full affect of the pieces. And their collection is really quite small... More

The entry is free - but it would be worth paying for. One of the most eclectric collections of modern art I have seen outside the Tate
