Very good shopping mall. Easily accessible using metro, bus or taxis. The whole area is huge and is very worth a walk around to see some of lisbon's modern architectural references.

Park is along the Tejo river. Beautiful for a stroll or a bike ride in the Summer. Near the Aquarium, Oriente Station, as well as a large shopping mall.

This place was held the Expo back in 1998, so some of the things are still remain here. This is the new part of Lisbon, where you can go to the biggest Oceanarium of Europe, theres cable car taking a tour from south to north, a Casino, some science museum center, shoppin mall and a arena where they hold concerts.... The Oriente station is amazing and a great backdrop to the Parque. The gardens and sculptures along the waterfront are well worth a visit and you can get in some retail therapy afterwards in the adjoining shopping mall! On the top floor there is an open air area to eat. There is a wide variety of eating places, where you... More

What we didn't realise is that this area is basically a huge shopping centre, with lots of cafes. Walking along the front was fun in good weather, and the 11 mile long bridge is spectacular.

I can only assume the architect of humongous example of bad taste was really playing a joke. This structure makes modern British architecture look good.

The aquarium was excellent - both my 12 year old and my 16 year were totally absorbed as was I. The exhibits were facinating and the info apt and interessing. The rest of the area was deserted during the day (apart from the shopping centre) - we visited at the end of October - but for the aquariun alone it... More

The whole area is filled with impressive modern buildiings, well maintained with loads of urban art. The Oriente station is fantastic and the Vasco Da Gama towers visually very impressive. Pedestrian friendly and attractive walk ways along the river as far as the Vasco Da Gama Bridge. Cable car runs from beside the aquarium towards the bridge if you are... More

Just go to Parque Das Nacoes on the metro, and you're there! I'm no engineer, but it's an impressive feat of engineering to me. All made of concrete, I think; at least the bits close to the ground are. Very impressive, particularly at sunset; you can get some nice photos if that's your thing.
