Nice views on the water and a nice walk on the wooden walkway but as it was off season there wasn't much going on. Big mall nearby so plenty to eat

I totally recommend during spring and summer. In winter I don't think is the same because rain a lot :( You can walk, take photos of Tejo river, go shopping e eat good food. You can also find excellence public transport! Use a good pair of trainers to walk a lot!

The work done with this area after the end of Expo 1998 was just remarkable. Lovers of modern architecture could spend the day here! Attractions like the cable cars and the Océanarios are located here. The architecture and the Vasco Da Gama bridge located in the background offer endless picture opportunities! Have fun!

"Parque das Nações' is a beautiful and modern district in Lisbon where the visitors can find a great number of touristic points to visit. First of all, you must go to the 'Oceanario' (Lisbon Aquarium) that is one of the most important marine aquarium in the world. There you'll walk along corridors and little squares while contemplating a great number... More

We had a great time walking along the river bank .Some parts are a bit run down but overall it is worth a special visit that can be combined with the aquarium.

We could easily find this place by travelling on metro Red line. We visited Vasco da Gama tower, Tele Cabine and most popular Lisbon Oceanarium.

Staying in Parque das Nacoes

Neighborhood Profile
Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.
